Today’s article is all about taking a look back at the results of my free betting tips for July 2025. But I’ll also provide a full overview of my results since partnering with Betting.co.uk in March 2025. I’m pleased to say that I have very healthy numbers to report and I'll break them down for you in the rest of the article.
If you’re new to my work, I’m the resident horse racing tipster at Betting.co.uk and I produce an average of four betting tips each week for the site. These articles are typically daily betting tips published on the day of the race.
However, the content does vary according to what’s happening in the world of racing, so you will also find guides, big race trends, and antepost selections for big events in the future, like the 2026 Cheltenham Festival, for example. Whilst there are no betting tips in this article, I’ll be back on Tuesday and Wednesday with two selections for you.
Naturally you will see me promote a variety of bookmakers according to what they have on offer for us. But over the last five months, bet365 has been my most consistent pick. This bookie typically offers great odds and place terms, but that’s not all, they also have a fantastic sign up offer for new customers. If you bet £10, they’ll give you £30 of free bets. The brand’s consistent level of value makes it well worth the effort of signing up!
When following a tipster, you want to know one thing above all - are the tips making money? Today I can confirm that my free-to-access tips on Betting.co.uk have been doing that, and a good amount too! In the next sections of this article, I’ll go through the full numbers with you, based on the five months since the partnership began.
Since publishing my first betting tips in March 2025, every month except April has produced a positive result for my readers. Furthermore, the loss in April only amounted to 4.25pts.
If you have been following my betting advice, you would have seen a profit in March, May, June and July. To put that into context, 1.99pts, 8.44pts, 4.675pts and 10.04pts more would have returned to your pockets, over and above the amount you staked originally.
April was a frustrating month where we narrowly missed out on a win on several occasions. Strong Leader (6/1) and Pounding Poet (20/1) both ran huge races at the Aintree Festival, but could only manage to finish second and third respectively. We had worse luck with Excello who nearly came down, and then Bill Joyce sadly took a tumble. Thankfully he was up on his feet and ready to fight another day, just like us.
Betting is not a get rich quick scheme, and anybody who tells you otherwise is a fool. The key is to consider your results over the long term. Everybody has bad spells and purple patches, but the question is whether you are making a profit over time. We now have a five month window to consider my Betting.co.uk tips, and we’re certainly achieving a healthy profit. From March to July inclusive, we achieved a 20.895pt profit.
A metric often used is the ROI (Return On Investment), those who have followed the article tips would have staked 104pts from March to July, which represents a ROI of 20.09%. Effectively, for every £10 staked on my advised bets, you would have seen £12.09 returned. To give this some further context, if you followed the points advised with £10 allocated per point, you would have generated a profit of £208.95.
Every winner is a welcome one. However, we all know it’s great to hit winners at big prices, and those following my tips on here managed that on more than one occasion during July. At double figure prices, we recorded the following winners:
Whilst these two stand out due to their value prices, we also enjoyed Rocking Ends winning at 2/1. As well as the winners, we also had place returns from Whathappensinvegas, The Flying Poet and Sweet William.
Here is my results breakdown for July only:
| Excluding Best Odds Guaranteed | Including Best Odds Guaranteed | |
| Staked | 17.75pts | 17.75pts |
| Returned | 27.79pts | 28.54pts |
| Profit | 10.04pts | 10.79pts |
| ROI | 56.56% | 60.79% |
And here is my full breakdown covering March to July:
| Excluding Best Odds Guaranteed | Including Best Odds Guaranteed | |
| Staked | 104pts | 104pts |
| Returned | 124.895pts | 130.355pts |
| Profit | 20.895pts | 26.355pts |
| ROI | 20.09% | 25.34% |
Every tipster wants to be in profit every single month, but in reality, it doesn’t happen. As covered earlier in the article, a long term view must be taken and overall, I’m really happy with the results today.
I hope you are having fun following them and crucially, making money from doing so. As always, I will be putting in all of the work behind the scenes to ensure the tips remain profitable for you moving forwards!
Below are some of our betting partners and the offers they currently have available, so be sure to take a close look. If you open an account today, you’ll be all set to use your free bets for the week ahead’s racing action!
