In this article, I’ll be crunching the numbers for my August tips on Betting.co.uk. Thankfully, it’s another month of extremely pleasant reading. The end of August also marks six months of me being the resident horse racing tipster here, so I’ll be looking at the overall figures for you too. If you have been following my tips since I first started, it’s safe to say it will have been well worth your while!
If you haven’t read my articles before, I typically produce four each week. The majority are daily betting tips. However, I do also publish other types of content like big race trends, guides and antepost betting tips. In terms of antepost content, I have selections for the St Leger later this month, the Cesarewitch Handicap next month and the King George VI Chase in December. I have even looked ahead to next year and have tips for the 2026 Cheltenham Festival and
2026 Aintree Grand National
too.

When following a tipster, you want to know one thing above all - are their betting tips any good? Today I can confirm that my free-to-access tips here on Betting.co.uk have been doing very well indeed! In the next sections of this article, I’ll go through the full numbers with you, based on the five months since the partnership began.
I am happy to see every winner come in, knowing that I have backed it, but that my Discord members and many Betting.co.uk readers have too. Of course, the big-priced winners are always the most special. Of the five winners I tipped during August, two of them came in at at double-figure prices, and were advised as follows:
- 1pt each way on Rhoscolyn @ 12/1 - returned 16.4pts
- 0.5pt Win on Ethical Diamond (antepost) @ 10/1 - returned 5.5pts
These two stand out from the others due to their prices. However, we also enjoyed wins with Whathappensinvegas, Cancan In The Rain, and Tronido at prices of 9/1, 10/3 (20p Rule 4) and 8/1 (10p Rule 4) respectively. In addition to that, we made a profit on places from Dancing In Paris, Frost At Dawn and Couer d’Or at prices of 11/2, 18/1 and 14/1. All of those successful runners gave us an overall profit of +28.637pts for the month!
Five out of six months have been profitable from March to August 2025
With a healthy plus figure for August, we’ve enjoyed five out of six profitable months. Our only losing month was April, where we had plenty of hard luck stories, yet only finished 4.25pts down. That figure is dwarfed when compared to the profit achieved during the other five months, especially August!
If you have been following my betting advice consistently, you would have seen a profit in March, May, June, July and August. Over those months, as well as your total stakes back, you would have also enjoyed profits of +1.99pts, +8.44pts, +4.675pts, +10.04pts and +28.637pts respectively.
As always, you cannot win them all. Ups and downs must be expected when betting. The key to success is making a long term profit, and now that I have six months of results for my Betting.co.uk tips, I can prove that I am doing that.
In the six months to date, my free betting tips have produced a fantastic profit!
If you’re looking to get rich quickly, betting is not the answer. In fact, if you are forcing bets, especially accumulators, and trying to make a profit, rather than being selective, betting is a quickfire route to the poor house. Sure, you may land the odd multiple, and the odd person may make a profit, but as a rule, bookmakers love accas, as there is almost always one or more legs that will let you down. The way to hurt the bookies is with singles, and gradually grinding away with steady, value bets.
I have a full six months worth of results now since becoming the resident horse racing tipster here, and proof that my tips have produced a profit of 49.532pts. If you are lucky enough to have access to Best Odds Guaranteed (BOG) that overall profit increases to 55.042pts.
You may have heard the phrase Return On Investment (ROI). My tips over the last six months have produced a ROI of 41.28% which increases to 45.87% for those with BOG available. What this means, is that for every £100 staked on my advised bets, you would have seen £141.28 returned. To give this some further context, if you followed the points advised, with £10 allocated per point, you would have generated a very healthy profit of £495.32 over the last six months.

I’m absolutely over the moon with the results to date. Hopefully you are enjoying following my betting tips, and putting them to good use too.
