Welcome to our Aintree Weekend Preview racing fans!

After a solid week of selections, with KNIGHT SALUTE at 14/1 being the highlight so far, Joe from JM Racing and myself have created an Aintree Weekend Preview show, which includes our picks for the big race itself – The Aintree Grand National.

Today we have a whole bunch of selections for the final day of the Aintree Festival, including 40/1 and 80/1 Grand National selections from both of us!

Ginger Joe’s Weekend Best Bets

WALKING ON AIR: 2.25 Aintree 7/2

This is a horse that I expect to take another big step forward, after side-stepping Cheltenham. He burst onto the scene in dramatic fashion and was given quotes as short as 7/1 for the Ballymore. He will really enjoy the Aintree track and could be something really special. Plenty of value here!

CHAMP: 3.35 Aintree 7/2

Admittedly a bit of a risky sort, but I was actually very happy with his Cheltenham run. He beat THYME HILL in the long walk, who opposes again, and although CHAMP was slightly disappointing in the following run, he was much more like it last time in the Stayers Hurdle. It was a big step back in the right direction and being ten years old, he may have just needed that run to put him right. He won’t let the Favourite have the lead this time, as he did at Cheltenham. Plus, young Jonjo being on board gives a big boost to his chances.
