Golf fans, welcome back to the channel! It's that time of the week again, and for this week, we have two events to take a look at. We have the BMW International Open in Munich, Germany. Then on the PGA Tour, we have the Travellers Championship in Connecticut. I can't wait for these to get underway!
I've found some really strong selections at high prices this week. I could hardly be in any better form after another winner last week in the name of Wyndham Clark at 80/1 made it 7 winning weeks in a row on my channel. I also put up Harris English, who placed us at 150/1 to make it a profitable week on the channel. Now this week, with two events to look at, I will advise you to play the e/w singles and the e/w cross doubles in the hope of landing another big cross tour double! I landed the cross-tour double in March when Jorge Campillo won the Magical Kenyan Open. At the same time, Scottie Scheffler won The Players, and this bagged us a whopping 373/1 double! Now I am under no illusion that the run will end sooner or later, but why not be greedy and try to bag one more. Before we go on to the selections, a kind word of advice. Just because the run has been a continuous stretch for 7 weeks, keep your stakes as they are, we don't want to give the winnings back to the bookies, and the prices are big enough that there is no need to go in too deep. Now let's get into the action!

My first selection for the BMW is Canadian Aaron Cockerill, who I think is more than good enough to win on Tour, and this could be a really good opportunity for him to break his maiden. The scoring this week will be pretty low. You need a player that applies constant pressure when attacking the flags this week, and he has been consistently doing that. I have watched his game closely over the past few months. The factor that has made him so compatible is his distance control, and that will suit this course very well here and give him plenty of opportunities to make birdies here. His Iron play into greens is that strong, it has him in the Top 25 on Tour in the greens in the regulation department, but not only this, he is in the Top 10 in the putts per green in the regulation department, too, which is a perfect mix for this track. His last 5 events have worked out very well, with finishes of 13th, 2nd, 21st, 16th, and 10th, and with this track likely to suit his game well on a going day, I am willing to take my chance on him breaking his maiden at 60/1.
Frenchman Antoine Rozner comes back into my selections for the first time in a few months, and to me, he looks like a player ready to go really close again. He has won on the DPWT 3 times, and even though he hasn't been at his best lately, he is still finishing at the right end of the leaderboard. His putting has let him down a touch recently. Still, he is currently sitting at 72% in the green in the regulation department, so he is sure to get plenty of chances this week. Antoine aspires to make the Ryder Cup team and needs a big performance. Still, he showed signs of returning to form in the Scandinavian Mixed event, so a return to the winner's circle may be close. He is short enough in the betting, but I think we're close to seeing Antoine Rozner back at his best, and he is a force to be reckoned with this week.
Jorge Campillo owes us nothing this year, having won for us in the Kenyan Open at 33/1, and he has now become a real big name on the DPWT. He's a 3-time winner and one of the best Iron players on the circuit, and his putting is the best I've seen from anyone this season, which makes him a big player this week. He has such a nice ball flight and plays with a soft draw which will suit all the angles here, and he is finally a backable price again at 33/1. He needs to bounce back from a couple of ropey performances, but you need players this week that go low, and he is certainly in that category. Plenty of rounds in the low 60s, and Jorge Campillo is better than the 33/1 on offer. A great bet for this week's BMW.
If you've been following my selections this year, you will know that Marcel Siem is one of my regular choices and has impressed me no end this year. I often don't like backing the home players, as this isn't always positive. Still, Marcel Siem definitely performs in front of a home crowd. He was so good in the Porsche Open at the beginning of this month, finishing in a tie for second, and in all honesty, he should've won it, but he made an unusual switch down to the 3 wood on the 15th tee and paid the price after losing the ball right and having to take a very costly drop which evidently threw the tournament away. Marcel Siem has been shooting some seriously low scores this year and, alongside Jorge Campillo, is one of the best putters out there and seems to make putts from all over the place. Another very good trait that I like about Marcel is that he can go seriously low when he gets going. Even if he is 5 or 6 shots off the leader in the final round, he still has a chance. You can't say that about most players. He is 2nd on the putting stats, which is a big plus for this week. Marcel Siem is in the squad again and, at 50/1, is selection number 4
My final selection for this week is another German in the name of Nicolai Von Dellingshausen at a whopping price of 150/1; he is absolutely good enough to win a DPWT event and is worth a poke at the prices this week. He is another really good putter in the squad for this week, sitting at 30th on Tour, and he has the skills to make an impact here. My slight concern with him is his Iron play. It seems to be on, off, on, off. Still, he mentioned last week he was really happy with his game and found something to work with, which means he will probably come into hitting the ball well this week. He is plenty good enough on the greens to compete here. I think it's important for him to start the week well, and if he does, then I could see him sticking around for a while. Worth a punt at 150/1.
Min Woo Lee finished a very impressive tie for 5th at the US Open last week. He is a real momentum player, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him back it up this week. I thought the 55/1 was a little too big, considering how well he played, and when he is at his best, he proves he is clearly good enough to mix it with the best. Scottie Scheffler and Rory Mcilroy had what looked like a long week in the sense there was plenty of stress involved. Still, Min Woo took it all in his stride, and I would certainly rather back him at this price by a long way over backing Rory and Scottie at single figures. He is an absolutely class ball striker, and with the form, he is in. Don't be surprised to see him knocking on the door again!
Max Homa is one of my favorite players on the PGA Tour. He started last week's Major with a 68, only to shoot 76 in the second round to miss the cut, having finished with two double bogeys. This was out of character but more than understandable at The Los Angeles Country Club as the last 3 holes were the extremely long Par 4's. He played very well until that point, so I'll count those two holes as a blip. I think at 40/1, he has become very backable, and this track will suit his game so well. He has a beautiful golf swing, he's generally consistent, and he should give us a good run for our money at 40/1.
Andrew Putnam is my final selection for the week, and he is a very consistent player. He played nicely the previous week at the US Open, and the course wasn't exactly suited to his game, but he will find this week much easier and much more to his liking. He is a PGA Tour winner, so he knows how to get the job done and has had tons of Top 10 finishes. He will handle this week very well, and I love his wedge play; he always seems to be peppering the flag. He has some really good stats this year. He is 6th on Tour when putting from 10ft and in, and you can't write off a guy with that sort of stat in his bag. He is a very consistent player who doesn't tend to throw in too many wobbly rounds, and he is a very good each-way price at 100/1.
