NAP Selection | 1.37 Lingfield - WELSH SAINT  @ 9/2

WELSH SAINT makes his seasonal debut at Lingfield and I think this could be the time to catch him. He has had a well regarded profile throughout his career so far but comes here off the back of a winless campaign.

He makes the switch from Nicky Henderson's yard to join Sam Thomas and this could be just what he needs. I think coming out a year older as a 7y-o should benefit my selection here because he has had a nice break and will come here race fit. His mark is slipping rapidly due to his poor season but considering I am expecting a return to form tomorrow, this actually leaves him on a really good mark.

Sam Thomas does really well at finding a little extra with these types and it is not as uncommon as you might think for these types to have a bad season before bouncing back, it happens more than you would think. I believe he is going to take advantage of his sliding mark here and the 9/2 based on his credentials leaves this boy overpriced here!
