Hello Racing fans and welcome back to a new week of selections! I had a really strong week last week, including 20/1, 18/1 and 12/1 winners, so stay tuned for more this week. I have a Lucky 15 for you to get stuck into for Wednesday's racing. Also, head over to my YouTube channel to check out my bonus selections!
Below are my selections for Wednesday’s racing and I advise backing these horses! Thank you for all of your support so far, and don't forget to check out my socials @gingerjoeracing on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter & Facebook for daily updates!
J: Tom O'Brien / T: Henry Daly
JIMMY THE DIGGER has won both of his last two races here over course and distance. He has gone up 9lb for his latest win but that may not be enough to stop him based on how easily he won last time out.
He actually nearly threw jockey Tom O’Brien out of the saddle when he made a huge mistake but still won easily and showed a good turn of foot after the last with plenty to spare. He takes up leg one in Wednesday's Lucky 15 and is short enough in the betting but based on what we have seen so far, he should be good enough to get the job done and is open to more improvement still.
J: Nick Scholfield / T: Harry Fry
GET BACK GET BACK is a horse that has been nicely progressive but one that has been crying out for this trip for some time now. He has only ever raced around 2 miles and he has stayed on particularly well on his last two runs suggesting he is ready to run a big race here for the step up in trip.
Harry Fry has been patient with him and I think he is now ready to put his best foot forward now he has conditions that are likely to suit. The favourite DAL HORRISGLE may well turn out to be a smart type in time but for now I think this is a great opportunity for GET BACK GET BACK to put his best foot forward. A big run is on the cards here.
J: Clifford Lee / T: Steph Hollinshead
AL SIMMO is one that has been hugely progressive from 3 to 4. She was barely at the races last year but has turned into a force to be reckoned with and hasn't shown signs of stopping yet. She has run 5 times this year and won 4 of them looking better and better with each run.
Her best run to date was her latest win where she made all and showed a really good turn of foot to pull away in the final furlong. This was again another big step up on previous form and I just think she could be hard to catch again and is in this handicap off a very decent mark. No reason to write her off in this one and plenty of value in her price.
J: Sean Bowen / T: Peter Bowen
MONTANNA is my NAP selection for Wednesday’s racing and I think he is a class above his rivals in this. He has been really progressive all year and looks better and better with each run. He has put up some really dominant displays and is a great jumper and traveller which always bodes well over these extended trips.
MONTANNA for me is the one that's improving the most and I think he takes all the beating here. I think the bookies should have him as favourite and I am going to get quite stuck into this one at 10/3. He has some really good credentials and a bright future.
