SATURDAYS NAP SELECTION

LORD DU MESNIL 14.35 Haydock @ 9/1 on Betfred

LORD DU MESNIL is my NAP selection for this weekend. He is an out and out stayer who has just shown signs of coming back to form, which was probably the plan from the outset of this season.

He finished just 1½ lengths back off GOOD BOY BOBBY last time out, but he was hardly geared up for the day. Even the vet reports following the race showed the horse wasn’t in the best of fettle.

He has crept to a decent weight for this particular race, due to the addition of top-weight ROYAL PAGAILLE, but my selection absolutely loves it here and shows form figures of 1112 here at Ascot.

Now is the time to catch this one.
