It’s been a profitable week to date with Show Biz Kid bolting up at Bath on Tuesday and South Shore hitting the places on Wednesday. I look to further our success today with 14/1 selection who looks far too good for that price. He is certainly worth an each way bet and I won’t be surprised to see him go off much shorter.
In case you are not already familiar with me, I’m RacingGav and I’m the resident horse racing expert here at Betting.co.uk. This has been the case since March 2025, so I have a proven track record. Within this role, I produce multiple free horse racing tips each week. Most of my betting tips are daily but there are also antepost selections and each Saturday, I put together a Lucky 15 from the ITV Racing runners.
It’s not just betting tips here though, I also produce many other types of content like educational guides, big race trends and horses or trainers to follow. Speaking of the former, I’d recommend that you check out my educational guides on the betting fundamentals and also my article on understanding the UK handicap system.
At the time of writing, Relocal is generally available at odds between 9/1 and 12/1. However, bet365 has the best horse racing odds at a price of 14/1! Whilst most are paying three places, bet365 also throw in a fourth place as well! The great value doesn’t stop there either. If you sign up and bet £10, you’ll get £30 of free bets. Pure value all round, so check it out now!
Relocal, is having his second run for his stable today. I think this is the time to catch him and that we’ll see a much better version of him than his stable debut. In this article, I’ll break down why I think this, so be sure to read on!
Back in January 2026, Relocal won off today’s exact mark of 69. He may have only won by a short head that day but the second, Carlton, won his next two starts, one on the Flat and the other over hurdles and he is now rated 7lb higher on the Flat.
That winning run followed a great third at Newcastle on his prior start off the same mark. He was only headed inside the final 110yds that day, so it wasn’t much of a surprise that he went two better next time out.
Judging him on his top three performances, he has 8-10lb in hand here and a repeat of that level of performance would see him very tough to beat. Hopefully he can reproduce that form and as he’s only a four-year-old with just 12 career starts to date, there is no reason to think he couldn’t produce a career best.
Anecdotally speaking, I feel that the second time out is the time to catch Dylan Cunha’s runners. I feel that he often uses the first run to either suss the horse out and see what he’s working with and/or to tee them up for a big performance on their second start. On this occasion, I feel it is more of the latter.
Judged on his career to date, Relocal is a better horse on the All Weather than on the Turf, which even factors in that his latest run on Turf was his best on that surface to date. However, I think that should have him spot on now and that coincides with a switch back to the All Weather. Similarly he didn’t look to get home over 1m6f last time out and/or needed the run, so this drop back in trip to 1m4f could be ideal.
We also have more than just one surface on the All Weather but he has shown that he handles the Tapeta up at Newcastle, so he will be absolutely fine at Wolverhampton which shares the same surface. Interestingly, his latest run at Newcastle was over half a furlong further on a stiffer track and he was only headed inside the final furlong. On this sharper trip and over half a furlong shorter, they may not reel him in!
Dylan Cunha has a fantastic relationship with Fletcher Yarham, who I feel is one of the best amateur jockeys in the UK. Dylan regularly switches his horses to Amateur races in order to utilise the advantage that Fletcher provides and this is the game plan here. So far this year, Dylan has booked Fletcher Yarham three times and he has produced one win, one place and a £1 level stake profit of +£2.50.
The Dylan Cunha yard itself is in superb form as well. In January he managed one winner and in February, March and April he managed two wins in each. However, in May, he has already recorded eight winners with a 20% strike rate. In addition to that, he has had a further 10 horses finish in second, third or fourth. Overall across the month, he has produced a £1 level stake profit of +£3.02.
Dylana also tends to do very well with horses in training that he picks up at value prices. A prime example of this is Hengest who was purchased for just £1,800 in March and he has already won three for the yard! Relocal was picked up for just 8,500 GNS and whilst I’m not saying he will go and rattle off a hat-trick as well, I think he can certainly prove to be a value purchase, hopefully starting with a big run here!
I certainly feel that he has a better chance than his odds of 14/1 suggest. He is back down to his last winning mark, he blew the cobwebs away last time out and he now switches back to his favoured All Weather (from the Turf). Dylan Cunha’s stable has been in great form in May and hopefully he can continue that with Relocal here! He uses one of his tried and tested methods of switching horses into amateur company and booking the superb Fletcher Yarham, so hopefully the partnership can continue their success together. Dylan and his team are masters at buying value horses and getting them winning and hopefully Relocal can join that ever-growing list.
In terms of negatives, stall nine is far from ideal around a left-handed track like Wolverhampton. On the bright side, there doesn’t look to be much pace on, which could give Fletcher an opportunity to overcome the bad draw early in the race, if they are aggressive. On the flip side, the race is over 1m4f, so he has time on his side, if he decides to be more patient. The other concern rather than negative is that he was likely sold for 8,500 GNS out of the Roger Varian stable for good reason. Sometimes, these cheap purchases never amount to much and it’s on Dylan to prove them wrong, as he often does.
For me, there are plenty of positives and only one real negative, which is the draw. Therefore, at odds of 14/1 with four places being paid, I certainly feel he is worth playing each way and I can easily see him outrunning those odds here. However, given the poor draw and the fact he has to prove he was a value purchase rather than just a cheap one, I have trimmed the stake down to 0.75pt each way.
