Let’s get straight into it racing fans, as we have some cracking jumps action this week and I couldnt be in better form!
I have two selections here for you, both running at Galway and a further couple of selections in my Discord group chat. If you want to come over and join us there, it’s completely FREE.
Day 4 of the Galway festival starts earlier than the first three days, so don’t forget to tune in nice and early otherwise you’ll miss my first selection running in the opener at 14.10! My pick for this one is Fakiera, for the Gordon Elliott team, fairly priced at 9/4, using best odds from Fitzdares at the time of writing. Fitzdares is one of the top UK bookmakers with one of the best betting sign up offers, so be sure to check them out!
I really think this is his time to break his Chasing duck, as he takes on a few exposed runners. His jumping really didn’t quite come together for his first time over fences, but he was given a very careful ride last time out and managed to jump much better. He also managed to finish runner-up, taking a big step forward on his Chase debut. He has the best hurdles form on offer and is learning nicely on the job. Surely, he takes all of the beating on his third start over the larger obstacles?
My second selection runs in the 14.45 and I’m taking on Mullins and Elliott with local trainer Norman Lee, who runs Sole Pretender. This horse won both of his two Chase starts before running a blinder when switching back to Hurdles in a Grade 3 last time out. He is a very consistent type. who travels well and has no jumping issues. He is a very solid contender against a pair which are undeniably on the up, but are taking a big hike in class for this race.
FAKIERA - 14.10 Galway @ 9/4
SOLE PRETENDER - 14.45 Galway @ 5/2
As always racing fans, make sure that you are getting the very best betting odds before you place those all-important wagers!
