Every Saturday I provide you readers with a Lucky 15. The vast majority of the time, I look for value prices, but this week, it’s the horses at the top of the market catching my eye, so I’ve opted for the win only version today.

It’s rare for me to bet at the top of the market but I’m doing exactly that in today’s Lucky 15 with all four selections priced between 6/4 and 4/1. In the following sections of this article, I’ll break down my case for each of the four horses, so keep reading!
Asfoora @ 9/4 - She should be tough to beat dropped in class!
Asfoora has been a superstar and it’s fantastic that this Australian mare has been competing on British and French soil for the past couple of seasons. Her impressive CV contains wins in the King Charles III Stakes at Royal Ascot, the Nunthrope Stakes at York and the Prix de l’Abbaye de Longchamp Longines - All of which are at Group 1 level.
This season she had two preparation runs to bring her up to speed at Newmarket and Haydock, which I’d easily overlook. I was expecting to see a big step forward at Royal Ascot and she took one, seeing her RPR increase from 91 and 75 to 114. However, to me, she still didn’t look fully tuned up and it certainly wasn’t a bad run, as she finished seventh, beatenby just two lengths. A repeat of that should be enough to win this Group 3, but I think she could even build on it. Oisin Murphy has ridden her ten times now, so knows her well and can hopefully bring her home in front.
Arc Ole Ole @ 15/8 - I love this horse and he’ll love this step up in trip!
Back in May, I put up Dylan Cunha’s
Arc Ole Ole
as my horse to follow that month. Off a mark of 75, I felt he was underestimated by the handicapper and capable of more. I felt he would improve for softer ground and a step up in trip, as well as developing physically and mentally. Thankfully he proved me right by winning in great style at York, for which he was raised 10lb. He showed he could handle faster (Good) going that day, which was pleasing as well.
It was an even tougher test at Royal Ascot last month on Firm going, and although he didn’t win, he ran a huge race in fifth. That was his best run to date and I believe it deserves marking up given he came from the back of the field, and needed to make up a lot of ground. With the way he ran on, I think he’ll love the step up to 1m 6f here. Luke Morris won on him back at Doncaster in March, and returns to the saddle today. Hopefully the partnership can make it 2/2. The 4lb rise for Royal Ascot doesn’t help but I think it could still underestimate him!
Indalo @ 4/1 - He deserves to win one of these big Handicaps!
Roger Varian’s Indalo won his only start at both two and three, before becoming a lovely handicapper at four and five. He won a Class 4 Handicap last July before landing a nice Class 3 Racing League Handicap in August. He’s yet to land a big pot in Class 2 company, but he deserves one.
On his final start last season, he was denied by a nose in the Cambridgeshire by subsequent Listed winner, Boiling Point. Indalo made his seasonal debut in a valuable Handicap at Newbury, where he was denied by a neck. That form looks strong now as the Buckingham Palace Stakes winner, Mezcala, was back in third that day. After that he went to the Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot, but it was another hard luck story.
In a week which saw high draws heavily favoured on the straight course, he was drawn low. He ran a cracker regardless, placing third, but given he was drawn in stall seven and the 1-2-4-5-6 were drawn in 33, 23, 32, 22 and 24, his run deserves marking up. If he was drawn near side, he may well have won. He deserves to land a big one and despite creeping up another 1lb for his run at Royal Ascot, I think he can win this!
Klassleader @ 6/4 - This progressive colt could have a lot more to come!
Klassleader is a four year old colt with just five runs on his record. However, he has progressed with each one. In May 2026, he made his seasonal reappearance at York over 1m 4f, in the Jorvik Handicap. That looked to be a competitive race on paper, but he was well supported into 15/8F and duly obliged in great style. That run came off a mark of 90 but he produced a RPR of 103.
The handicapper reacted by raising him 8lb from 90 to 98. However, I’m not sure that will be enough to stop him. After a 229-day break, and just five starts, he’s entitled to have more improvement to come. Today he steps up in trip from 1m 4f to 1m 6f, and judging from how strongly he ran last time, he should relish that. I think he could still be ahead of the handicapper and take some beating here.
Incidentally, Klassleader heads the market for the York Ebor with odds varying from 6/1 to 8/1 and it’s easy to see why. Hopefully he can win here before contesting that £500,000 Handicap!
Can we hit some winners?
With me advising a win only Lucky 15 here, it’s all about finding winners as places won’t suffice! But I think we have a great chance of doing just that with these selections and hopefully we can land the full house!
If the two shortest-priced horses (6/4 and 15/8) win, we’ll recover most of our outlay with £12.56 returned from a £15 bet. However, if it was the other two at 5/2 and 4/1, we would see a profit of £11.00. Three winners would see us return £60.03-£103.62 and a full house would be a lovely £365.19 or in return on investment (ROI) terms, a 2,335% ROI. As always, I’ll be happy with any profit, but the more the merrier.
