In this article we move on to my longshot betting tips for this week’s big PGA Tour event, the 2024 RSM Classic. My first selection is being dangerously overlooked in the market and I can’t figure out why he is available at such a huge price. He ticks all the boxes and has the full list of skills that I’m looking for in my players for this week’s event.
I also have a second selection, who has really found his form since returning from a small injury, and looks to be growing in confidence too. He is a player that needs to brush up his short game a little, but it is starting to come right, and I‘m positive he can outplay his triple-figure odds. I’m expecting a fine performance from both players this week, who are at unmissable prices too.
With five places on offer for the PGA Tour RSM Classic tournament, Bet365 is my bookie choice for this week’s longshots. No account? Then take advantage of their new customer offer. If you
bet £10, you’ll get £30 in free bets. What better way to make the most of my longshot tips.
My first longshot pick is Garrick Higgo, who is already a winner on the PGA Tour. Garrick has really impressed me this season, and he has been in fine form over the last few weeks too. He finished tied for sixth place in the WWT Championship, and backed that up by finishing tied for 17th in the Bermuda Championship last week. There is nothing whatsoever to suggest that he won’t continue that form here.
If anything, the courses designated for this week’s tournament should suit him even better, thanks to his superb iron play and strong short game.
I am feeling really confident about Garrick’s chances this week, and the fact that you can get triple figure odds about him comes as a real surprise. I can see no reason why he should be so big in the market, as he must have a considerable chance here, so don’t miss out.
My second longshot betting tip is Joseph Bramlett. Although he hasn’t managed to finish in the top places this season, he has all the right skills to play well on both of these Sea Island courses. One thing I have noticed about Joseph is that unlike many other players, he performs better with some variation of styles. I suspect that may have to do with his concentration levels, but we won’t look a gift horse in the mouth.
Joseph Bramlett is superb with his irons, and even though his short game let him down slightly in the Bermuda Championship, he still ended up in the top 30, which is no mean feat. He is showing signs of a big revival and has played really well since the early part of October when returning from an injury. Joseph seems to be a fully rejuvenated golfer and may well surprise a few this week.
