We have a huge day of racing action at Cheltenham on Saturday, but before we get there, I have a top-class NAP selection for you at Sandown on Friday. And I really think this one is worth a play.
Although he runs in a very competitive small field event, I think he’s got it in the bag here with value to spare at 6/1. So, I’ll take my chances and hopefully grab myself some profit for the weekend.
Speaking of which, if you haven’t seen it already, check out my Cheltenham Trials Day Preview. Not only will you for some expert insights and more ante post betting tips for the big event in March!
If you don’t already have an account with Ladbrokes, then you’re missing out on this deal. If you bet just £5, you will get £20 in free bets to use on the sport of your choice. Don’t delay, get ready for Cheltenham.
This two-mile Novices’ Handicap Chase may only have six runners, but it is very competitive and I could make a case for most of them to be honest. Mount Tempest is probably the most feared here and is the current 5/2 favourite, having won his last two in really good fashion. He is by Walk In The Park and looks a fine big horse who will definitely be hard to beat, but he does like to race quite prominently and I think my selection can pick him off late.
General Medrano and Sir Psycho also nice horses and easy to make a case for, but my preference here is Keep Running. He is on a steep upward curve, he’s perfectly suited for this small field Handicap and I think it could really play to his strengths. He will need everything to go right for him to win the race for sure, but he has the potential to improve and at 6/1, I think he is worth a go.
