NFL Week 13 Betting Preview
It is Thanksgiving week in the NFL as we enter week 13 of the season. There will be three matches being played on Thanksgiving Thursday as a lot of fans will be celebrating with football and Turkey.
The three games that are taking place on Thanksgiving are Detroit Lions at home to the Green Bay Packers in an NFC North encounter, Kansas City Chiefs head over to Texas to take on the Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens play host to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Green Bay Packers @ Detroit Lions - Thursday 18:00 GMT
The Green Bay Packers need to keep winning if they are to have a chance of making the play-offs, and the same goes for the Detroit Lions. The Packers are second behind the Chicago Bears in the NFC North, while the Lions are in third. The 7-3-1 Packers look good at times with Jordan Love at quarterback. Love has thrown 15 touchdown passes this season and just three interceptions. His calmness under pressure is the main reason why the Packers still have a chance of making the post season schedule. The Lions also have a capable QB in Jared Goff. His vision and arm strength is impressive, he has thrown for 23 touchdowns already this season. If he finds his targets on Thursday then the Lions will be in with a shout. Divisional clashes can be hard to predict because there is so much pride on the line, but I have to go with Love and the Packers to win this one.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Dallas Cowboys - Thursday 21:30 GMT
The Dallas Cowboys and the Kansas City Chiefs are so hard to predict at the moment. You do know which team is going to turn up on a weekly basis. The Cowboys were blown away in the first two quarters against rivals Philadelphia Eagles as they trailed 21-0. Then in the second half, they were unbelievable and brought the game back to 21-21 before Brandon Aubrey kicked a winning field goal in the dying seconds. The Chiefs went into their game against the 8-2 Indianapolis Colts looking out of sorts, but they managed to dig deep and come away with a 23-20 win at Arrowhead Stadium. It will be hard for the Chiefs if the Cowboys are fully focused. The Cowboys need to be fully switched on or Patrick Mahomes and his men will rip through them without a second glance. Dallas cannot afford to have a first half like they did against the Eagles, but on home soil on Thanksgiving, I am backing Dak Prescott to guide his team to victory.

Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens - Friday 18:00 GMT
In all fairness to Ravens and Bengals fans, this is not the game that will make you stay up in the middle of the night to watch. I know fans of both teams will, but the neutrals will probably go to bed after the Cowboys and Chiefs game. Having said that, it is a divisional clash in the AFC North, so it does kind of mean something. The Bengals are 3-8 this season, while the Ravens are 6-5. Baltimore lead the way in the AFC North and victory over the third ranked Bengals will boost their play-off hopes and keep the pressure on the Pittsburgh Steelers. Whenever Lamar Jackson is in action, you expect him to do something special. He has thrown for 1595 yards and ran for 234. He has thrown three interceptions and 15 TD passes. I am backing him to turn up and guide his team to victory at the M&T Bank Stadium.

New Orleans Saints @ Miami Dolphins - Sunday 18:00 GMT
It’s fair to say that both the Dolphins and the Saints are not having the best of NFL campaigns in 2025. Miami are 4-7, but they have won three of their last four matches, so they are hitting a bit of form. The Saints are 2-9 and have won just one of their last six matches. It looks like neither team will be playing in the post season, but a victory for the Dolphins will see their season start to look better than it currently does. I am going for Tua Tagovailoa to have his best game of the season and not add to his 13 interceptions and 21 sacks by guiding the Dolphins to victory at the Hard Rock Stadium.

Minnesota Vikings @ Seattle Seahawks - Sunday 21:05 GMT
The Seattle Seahawks are having an impressive season, but they are still not top of the NFC West Division. They have a season record of 8-3 and have won three of their last four matches. The Seahawks come into this game on the back of a narrow 30-24 win over the Tennessee Titans. It wasn’t the most polished of performances, but they managed to hang on in there as they allowed two touchdowns in the final two quarters as the Titans fought back from 30-10 down. The win was good enough and they will be looking for major improvements this week. The Vikings had high hopes this season and they expected to be pushing the likes of Green Bay and Detroit all the way, they were even confident of brushing the Bears away. As it happens, the Vikings are bottom of the NFC North with a record of 4-7. They are currently on a three-game losing streak, and unfortunately, I cannot see that run ending at Lumen Field. I am backing the Seahawks to take control and fully expect Sam Darnold to control his offence perfectly and send some bombs over for the likes of Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp to score touchdowns.

Denver Broncos @ Washington Commanders - Monday 01:20 GMT
The 2025 NFL season has been nothing short of disastrous for the Washington Commanders, and that is mainly down to injuries. Star quarterback Jayden Daniels has had a few injury setbacks this season, while Terry McLaurin, Noah Brown, Drake Jackson, Marshon Lattimore, Luke McCaffrey and Austin Ekeler. That is a lot of quality players to be out of action and it has shown in their form as they are 3-8 and have lost six games in succession. The Broncos are going great guns this season. They are 9-2 and have won eight matches in a row. Regular readers of my tips will know I am a Commanders fan, so it gives me no pleasure at all to once again back against my team. If Daniels does not play, then it is a guaranteed win for the Broncos. If #5 does play, the home side has a quarter of a chance. I cannot see him playing as the season is over for Washington. Back the Broncos to win this game, if you like having bets on winning margins, go with Denver for a handsome win.
