NFL Week 16 Betting Preview
The NFL campaign reaches week 16 and with the Kansas City Chiefs out of play-off contention, there is a lot of excitement on who will reach the Super Bowl this season. If the rest of the teams can find a way of eliminating the Philadelphia Eagles then the interest will be through the roof. There are no teams on a bye win week 15.
The Thursday night/Friday morning game sees the Seattle Seahawks entertain the Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field in an intriguing NFC West encounter. Both teams have an 11-3 record and whoever wins will be in the hot seat to finish top of the division.
Washington Commanders finally ended their poor run with victory over the New York Giants, and they will be looking to make it successive victories when they take on another NFC East side in the Eagles.

Los Angeles Rams @ Seattle Seahawks - Friday 01:15 GMT
This game could be the match of round with both the Seahawks and Rams fighting it out for top place in the NFC West. The Seahawks are on home soil and that could prove to be the difference. The Seahawks have a passionate fan base knowns as the 12 and they will be screaming at the top of their lungs to help their side to victory. The Rams also look like genuine Super Bowl contenders as they showed their fighting spirit to fight back and defeat the Detroit Lions in week 15. When it comes to the two QBs, Matthew Stafford seems to get all the column inches and attention. He has thrown close to 4000 yards already this season with 37 touchdown passes and just five interceptions. You can see why he gets the plaudits. Sam Darnold doesn't get the love a player like Stafford does, but that does not mean he is not capable of being a Super Bowl winning QB. Darnold has thrown 22 TD passes for 3433 yards, but he has been picked off 11 times. I am backing Darnold to step up to the plate and outshine Stafford in this crucial game. I am backing the Seahawks to claim win number 12.

Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Commanders - Saturday 22:00 GMT
Defending Super Bowl champions the Philadelphia Eagles are 9-5 this season and they are going to advance to the play-offs this season by once again finishing top of the NFC East. They travel to Landover on Saturday to take on a Washington Commanders side who are basically just waiting for the season to end. The Commanders are 4-10 this season, but they did manage to snap an eight-game losing streak with a 29-21 win over NFC East rivals the New York Giants. I cannot see that being the star of a mini revival for Washington, although it is a division round so they might show some heart. I have to back against my own team once again, Jayden Daniels has been told he will not be playing for the rest of the campaign so he can fully recover form injury. Jalen Hurts will be looking to prove he is the best QB in the NFC with a dominant display. I am backing the Eagles and Hurts to have a field day and record a comfortable victory.

Green Bay Packers @ Chicago Bears - Sunday 01:20 GMT
The Bears and the Packers lock horns for the second time in three weeks with top spot in the NFC North still up for grabs. When they clashed in week 14, I correctly predicted that the Packers would win and I believed that the Bears would win the return match at Soldier Field. I am sticking with that prediction. The Bears are a funny team. Their defence is immense and have D'Andre Swift and DJ Moore making yards up the middle. My only concern is the QB - Caleb Williams. He clearly has the talent, but sometimes his decision making leads a lot to be desired. He needs to play a perfect game on Sunday to get the win for his team. I am going to cut him some slack and say he will do just that. I am backing a Bears win to move them closer to the play-offs.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Tennessee Titans - Sunday 18:00 GMT
It has not been a great week for the Kansas City Chiefs - saying that it has not been a great season. They were knocked out of play-off contention last weekend with a defeat against the LA Chargers, while they have been rocked that star QB Patrick Mahomes is out for a long period of time with a torn ACL. Mahomes is a massive loss, but seeing as they cannot make the play-offs, he might have been rested for the remainder of the campaign any way. They have a record of 6-8 which is very poor for their standards. Despite their turmoil, they take on a Titans side with a 2-12 record. The Chiefs should have no problem beating the Titans even without Mahomes. I am backing the Chiefs to end a three-game losing streak with victory at Nissan Stadium.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Detroit Lions - Sunday 21:25 GMT
This is a must-win game for the Lions and the Steelers when they clash at Ford Field. They both have an identical record of 8-6, but only one of them tops their division. The Steelers lead the AFC North, while the Lions only find themselves in third spot in the NFC North. Detroit have won two of their last five matches and come into week 16 on the back of a 41-34 loss against the LA Rams. The Steelers have hit a little bit form after losing two weeks running. They are unbeaten in two matches thanks to wins over the Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins. This is a hard one call, so I am going with home advantage. The crowd at Ford Field needs to be loud to get the Lions home, and I am backing them to do just that.
