The international break is (not so) sadly over, and club football resumes this weekend. Last Thursday brought us a Bale brace and a surprise Italian exit. After that, it was basically just a waiting game for most until the so-called “real football" came back.
All of Europe’s top-flight leagues are back in action this weekend, and you can find our Premier League betting tips for all fixtures here at Betting.co.uk.
However, the biggest show on the continent this weekend is the Glasgow Derby on Sunday. It’s been over a decade since there was this much riding on a league game between Celtic and Rangers, as the result could have a huge bearing on where the Scottish Premiership title ends up in May.
Below, we’ve provided you with our betting tips and predictions for the Rangers Celtic game this Sunday, 03/04/2022.

The pressure going into this Sunday's game at Ibrox definitely lies more with the hosts. Rangers have a very winnable Europa League quarter-final coming up against Braga next week, but their domestic form hasn’t quite been as formidable.
The ‘Gers go into this game three points behind Celtic with six games to go, and Celtic have a substantially superior goal difference. This essentially makes the derby a must-win for Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side, while the draw would favour Ange Postecoglou’s side.
The draw might favour Celtic, but Ange Postecoglou has publically stated he doesn’t know how to play for a draw, and his Celtic team’s dynamic style of football certainly shows that. In the last game, they blew Rangers away with three first-half goals before taking their foot off the gas in the second.
Celtic were undoubtedly aided by a packed Celtic Park that was comprised solely of Celtic fans. The tables will almost be turned this Sunday though, as just 700 away tickets have been sold at Ibrox.
A quick start for Rangers is essential, as the Ibrox crowd have been known to get on the players’ backs quickly if things aren’t going well. They will need Joe Aribo’s flair and creativity to be in full effect, and the Light Blues will be hoping that Alfredo Morelos is fit and firing. Their forward line will require service from captain James Tavernier, however, if Celtic start with Daizen Maeda over Liel Abada, then he will find himself closed down pretty quickly.
Celtic have the momentum domestically and have the added advantage of still being guaranteed top of the league come Sunday no matter what the result. That being said, Rangers are more than capable of getting a result at home in front of a crowd that will be 99% made up of their own fans.
We see both teams canceling each other out on this occasion and we’re tipping a draw, which you can back at odds of 9/4 with 888sport.
All odds are correct at the time of writing with 888sport on 30/03/2022.
Rangers win - 11/8
Draw - 9/4
Celtic win - 19/10
