Hi Racing fans! I hope you’ve enjoyed Royal Ascot so far! I have three very valuable each way bets for you on Day 4 of the royal meeting and I am very excited about what we have ahead. We have been given a fantastic offer which I myself have also taken advantage of from 888sport where they will match your initial deposit to 100% of up to £100!
888sport is also offering extra places which suit us for tomorrow, with three each way bets for you to latch onto. Plenty of time to get involved as my selections come in the final three races of the day at Royal Ascot.
RIKNNAH is one I think is overpriced in this 30 runner handicap and has snuck in at a real low weight of 8st 1lb. 888sport are paying 6 places the field and could play vital on getting paid in such a competitive event.
RIKNNAH is one who I could see stepping up here and coming off the back of two wins and probably won a shade more cosily than the bair result suggests. She will be race fit having won just two weeks ago and trainer Simon Crisford tends to do very well with his milers and often finds a lot of improvement in them.
She is one of the more unexposed types here and If you anticipate any sort of improvement at all which is pretty much a guarantee then you would expect to see her running quite a big race and is way overpriced at 16/1. A nice progressive 3 year old who ticks a lot of boxes from such a low weight.
Another competitive valuable handicap here runs over a mile and a half distance where we have an ultra competitive field. VALYRIAN STEEL is the each way play for me here coming off the back of two very good wins over this distance recently and is likely to enjoy the Ascot track. He is a relatively unexposed type who finishes his races exceptionally well.
I think he will be ridden a little more prominently this time around as I don’t think they will go too fast a gallop and you will want to be handy towards the last half mile at this track as ground can be tough to make up in the staying races if you're not in position late on. He travels well, has a great turn of foot and is versatile on ground conditions so you can expect him to at least run to the level that he did last time, which would put him in the mix here.
He is solid, reliable and ticks a lot of boxes and for the sake of all the places on offer in this race, the 12/1 looks a very fair price at this stage. There aren’t many others that are proven at this distance yet so he’s one to take note of!
MO CELITA has become quite the stable star for the Adrian Nicholls team and she bids to make it 6 wins on the bounce here. It would be a fairytale win for connections if she is able to come out on top but is now over 20lbs higher in the weights then what she was when she started this winning streak.
I think she is still capable of going close here in the finale and 12/1 looks very generous to me considering the handicapper hasn't managed to get hold of her yet. Her latest victory was the most impressive to date for me so far as she made virtually all to find a turn of foot pulling away in the final furlong. She was able to dictate the pace and was given a masterclass ride by Laura Coughlan who has won on her on the previous four runs.
Oisin Murphy takes the ride this time and he would’ve had the pick of a good bunch so its interesting he takes the ride here and can surely only be a benefit to her chances. I don't think she needs to be ridden from the front but she breaks well regardless so I expect her to be handy from the start.
I also think if she was trained by a more notable name she would be half this price so I think she is definitely overpriced here. I advise you to get on sooner rather than later with this one as she is likely to be popular in the betting on the day due to all of the one’s next to her name. Great value!
