Super League Betting Preview & Tips

Our rugby league expert and published author David Kuzio had a week off last time out as he was over in Paris watching Wigan Warriors record a stunning 40-16 win over Catalans Dragons at the Stade Jean Bouin stadium. He is back refreshed and raring to go and looking for his first full house of winners in his Super League Acca.

Every week this season there has been at least one shock result that has prevented David from getting seven out of seven. There is the potential of a couple of upsets in round 14, but he is backing himself to come out on top.

Super League Round 14 Acca

For my overall acca, I have opted to stick with Quinnbet with the overall odds. Thursday sees a great clash with St Helens entertaining Warrington Wolves, and I have to go with an away win in this win. On Friday, there are three games and Leeds and Hull KR should be comfortable winners over Toulouse and York respectively. Quinnbet is that confident of a win for Hull KR, there are no odds available for them to win. The game between Wakefield Trinity and Wigan Warriors is a toss of a coin. Wakey beat champions Hull KR last week, while Wigan travelled to Paris a week after winning the Challenge Cup at Wembley Stadium. Wigan struggle at Wakefield, and although it goes against what I normally do, I have changed my original decision. Having initially backed Wakefield, I have now gone with Wigan after seeing the two squads. Hull FC, Catalans Dragons and Leigh Leopards should all have no real problems in their round 14 matches.

  • Warrington Wolves to win - 15/8 ✅
  • Leeds Rhinos to win - 1/16 ✅
  • Wigan Warriors to win - 4/7 ✅
  • Hull FC to win - 3/10 ✅
  • Catalans Dragons to win - 1/4 ✅
  • Leigh Leopards to win - 4/11 ✅
  • Acca - 9.41/1 @ Quinnbet

St Helens vs Warrington Wolves - Thursday June 11th 20:00 BST

St Helens versus Warrington Wolves is a game that always lives up to its billing, and it is surprising that the two have never met in a Super League Grand Final. There is a possibility it could happen in 2026, but before that they have to meet in the weekly rounds for the second time this season. These two met in round 1 of the 2026 campaign, with the Wolves running out 24-14 winners. Both teams have improved a lot since then. The Saints are currently in fourth position with 18 points thanks to nine wins from 13 matches, The Wolves are second on the ladder but are joint top really with 20 points - Leeds Rhinos are top with a better points difference. St Helens have had a lot of injuries this series, but some of the stars have been returning in recent weeks. Being honest, they looked a better team when they were missing the big name players. Jackson Hastings remains suspended, so Paul Rowley has to decide whether Tristan Sailor or Jack Welsby starts in the halves or at full back. Welsby is the better full back, but he has been playing out of position and is not as affective. If Welsby starts at full back then they have a chance, but I feel Sailor will remain there. Daniel Suluka-Fifita is in line for his debut after the prop forward arrived from NRL club Canterbury Bulldogs. Wolves coach Sam Burgess has the luxury of welcoming back Cai Taylor-Wray, James Harrison, James Bentley and Adam Holroyd, while George Williams is still on the injured list. There has been a lot of speculation that Marc Sneyd might be leaving the club, and he misses this game with a foot problem Warrington will miss Sneyd's kicking game and his absence is the reason why some bookmakers are backing the Saints. I think Warrington can win without him, with Ewan Irwin and Leon Hayes set to partner each other in the halves. I have to back Warrington for the win, I think their pack is more dominant and Danny Walker will be the key at hooker. I expect it to be close with the Wolves winning by 6-10 points. I am also backing Taylor-Wray and Matty Ashton to score for the Wolves, with Kyle Feldt scoring for the hosts.

Wakefield Trinity vs Wigan Warriors - Friday June 12th 20:00 BST

This game is probably the hardest to predict this weekend. Before the squads were released, I was backing Trinity to beat Wigan. My reasoning was that the Warriors have had a pretty full on fortnight with wins in the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley and a trip to Paris. I was expecting another weakened squad from Matt Peet, but he has gone strong again with Bevan French named and Harry Smith back from suspension. Wakefield will be without Mason Lino and Corey Hall through injury, while Jazz Tevega is once again suspended. However, Max Jowitt is back and should feature against Wigan. With this team news, I have opted to change my mind and I am backing the Warriors to win. Normally, Wigan struggle at Wakefield, but I having seen the squads I just think they will be too strong for Trinity. Lino was the matchwinner for Wakefield last weekend against Hull KR, and his absence will be massive, while Jack Farrimond is playing the best rugby of his young career and with Smith beside him and French possibly on the bench, I am backing Farrimond to be the difference, I am backing the Warriors to win by 6-10 points, while I am expecting Farrimond, Zach Eckersley and Adam Keighran all to score for Wigan, with winger Tom Johnstone scoring for Trinity.

Last 10 meetings:

Hull Kingston Rovers vs York Knights - Friday June 12th 20:00 BST

It has been a rough couple of weeks for defending Super League champions Hull KR. First, they lost their Challenge Cup title at Wembley when they were outclassed by the Wigan Warriors. Then, they lost in the last minute to Wakefield Trinity with Mason Lino scoring a late try to send Rovers crashing to a 26-24 away defeat. They need to get back on the horse and get back to winning ways if they are to have a chance of keeping hold of the Super League League Leaders Shield. They are currently in fifth place with 16 points and a game in hand. York, on the other hand, are down in 13th position with three wins from 13 matches. They have lost their last four Super League matches, with their last win coming on April 23rd when they beat Toulouse 38-14. Dean Hadley returns after failing a concussion test at Wembley, while Sauaso Sue is suspended after being sent off against Wakefield. Knights coach Mark Applegarth has only named a 20-man squad with Danny Richardson dropping out altogether. York are finding it tough at the moment, and I feel this is the perfect game for Hull KR to get back to winning ways after a poor couple of weeks. I am backing the champions to win by 13+ points. I am backing Jack Broadbent, Tom Davies, Peta Hiku and Mikey Lewis all to score tries at any time for Hull KR, while I am backing David Nofoaluma to score for York.

Betfred Super League Betting Offers

Betfred is the principal sponsor of Super League, so it makes sense that they are running a couple of special offers ahead of the opening weekend.

Below is the Betfred offers that will go hand in hand with Super League this season. These will obviously change each week, but it is a good starting point when it comes to Super League betting sites.

Double Delight

This Betfred offer runs throughout the whole campaign and gives rugby league betting fans a great incentive to get involved. The Double Delight offer sees punters receive double the odds when their selected player scores the opening try of the game and then goes on to score another later in the game.

Wigan Warriors Price Boost

Bevan French made a shock return to action in the Challenge Cup Final following a torn hamstring and scored a try as Wigan defeated Hull KR. He said he was going to go back into rehab and come back in a few more weeks. He missed the win in Paris and is back in the squad for Wakefield. He is not expected to start, but Betfred are backing him to score and Wigan to win. You can back this at 2/1.

Wigan to win & Bevan French to score - 2/1

Rhinos On The Charge

Leeds Rhinos are currently top of the Super League ladder. They are level on points with Warrington but with a better points difference. Can they stay there and advance to Old Trafford to win the Grand Final? Betfred has them at 9/4 to win the Super League Grand Final for a ninth time.

Leeds Rhinos to win the 2026 Super League Grand Final - 9/4 @ Betfred
