With the Magic Weekend out of the way, Super League returns back to its normal schedule this weekend with home teams hosting away teams instead of everyone playing at a neutral venue.

rugby league expert and published author David Kuzio
ended up with two wrong scores again. He backed Warrington Wolves to beat Leigh, and although the win for the Leopards helped his Wigan team on the league ladder, he cannot be too angry. The other result he got wrong was he backed Catalans Dragons to beat Toulouse, and he definitely didn't see Toulouse scoring 60 points.
He has done another acca this week, and yet again there are a few games that can go either way. We are at that stage of the season where injuries and suspensions are hurting more and more teams - let's see if you agree with his selections this week.
David's Super League Round 18 Acca
THe game on Thursday night is not the biggest game of the weekend, but it does have to potential to be a good game. York had over 70 points put past them a few weeks ago, they ended the game posting 20 unanswered points of their own and they have since won two games in succession against Castleford Tigers and Huddersfield Giants. Hull FC are hit and miss. Yes, they have injuries but they look devoid of ideas - and for that reason i am backing the Knights to make it three on the spin.
Friday sees two games. Huddersfield Giants and Bradford Bulls are nowhere near being a top team in Super League, this could be a car crash of a game. Having watched both of their matches at Magic, I think the Bulls are capable of scoring more points, so I am backing them. Second hosts third on Friday with Wigan returning home to the Brick Community Stadium after a seven week absence. Both teams have big players missing, and this game will be decided on which youngsters perform the better. I am backing the Warriors to win a tight affair.
Three games are on Saturday. Leigh should have no problems beating Castleford at home. The Tigers were awful in their loss to Wakefield on Sunday, while the Leopards were brilliant in their win over the Wolves. The game of the day is Hull KR versus Wakefield Trinity. Trin beat the Robins last time they played, but as we get to the business end of the season, Rovers are looking more focused and I cannot see them losing at home.
The final game on Saturday sees league leaders Leeds Rhinos travel to the South of France to face the Catalans Dragons. Normally, the Dragons are hard to beat in the heat at home, but they are another team that is hit and miss. Leeds look good and I can see them winning this one comfortably.
Sunday sees St Helens take on Toulouse. The Saints were battered and bruised in their narrow loss to Wigan and should be missing some players, while Toulouse will be on a high after hammering the Dragons. Saints are not a great team, but they should be too strong for Toulouse.

Wigan Warriors vs Warrington Wolves - Friday, July 10th - 20:00 BST
Wigan Warriors return to the Brick Community Stadium for the first time since May 15 and they take on Warrington Wolves in the battle for second place. They are both level on points with 24 points - alongside Wakefield Trinity - and are four points behind leaders Leeds Rhinos. This is normally a blood and guts affair, but this week both teams are down on troops with some big names missing. The Warriors are without Bevan French, Jack Farrimond, Liam Marshall, Junior Nsemba, Noah Hodkinson, Nathan Lowe, Sam Walters and Liam Farrell. Warrington do have some players back with Toby King, Toff Sipley, Joe Philbin and Cai Taylor-Wray, but they are still without George Williams, Josh Thewlis, Sam Powell, Arron Lindop, Luke Yates and Sam Stone. Whoever sets foot on the field on Friday evening will give their all for both teams, Warrington have not been at their best in recent weeks with two defeats in their last three matches. Wigan have stuttered in the past two weeks but still grabbed the wins. They have not lost since they fielded a weak team against Hull Kingston Rovers in Round 12. I am backing Wigan to win this one by 6-10 points. This could go down to the final few minutes. For Wigan, I am backing Zach Eckersley and Jai Field both to score, while I expect Matty Ashton to score for the Wolves.

Hull Kingston Rovers vs Wakefield Trinity - Saturday, July 11th - 17:30 BST
These two met just over a month ago with Wakefield Trinity stunning the champions with a 26-24 win thanks to a last gasp try and conversion from Mason Lino. That was at Wakefield, but this game is in Hull. The Robins are in fifth position with 22 points and a game in hand, while Trinity are one place and two points better off than their hosts. The Robins are the defending champions, but they have not hit top gear yet, while Wakefield continue to upset the so-called big teams. Rovers welcome back a few troops with Arthur Mourgue named in the squad just two months after being ruled out for 12 weeks with a pectoral tear. He is joined back in the squad by Joe Burgess and Sam Luckley. Lino is still out injured for Wakefield, but coach Daryl Powell has drafted in Myles Lawford for the first time in 2026 with Jack Sinfield dropping out. I just cannot see Wakefield beating Hull KR again this season. We are getting down to the business end of the season, and if the Robins want to retain their title they need to start improving. I think it starts here on Saturday, I am backing them to win by 16-20 points. When it comes to try scorers, I expect Mikey Lewis to continue his fine form with a try and I also expect Burgess to mark his return with a try. For Wakefield, I cannot look past Tom Johnstone from scoring a try at anytime.

St Helens have struggled with injuries all season, and unfortunately for them, they don't seem to be getting any easier. Already without Deon Cross, Mark Percival, Matty Lees and Jonny Lomax, they picked up more injuries in the Magic Weekend loss against Wigan Warriors. Daryl Clark, Alex Walmsley, David Klemmer and George Delaney all picked up knocks in the defeat and are out of Sunday's game. Toulouse come into this game on the back of a stunning 60-18 win over French rivals Catalans Dragons. Toulouse have been boosted with the news that loan signing Tiaki Chan will remain at the club from Wigan until the end of the season with the option of a further year, and Henry O'Kane has committed his future by signing a new one-year extension. Normally, this would be a simple and comprehensive win for the Saints, but they are struggling with four members of the 21-man squad not yet issued a squad number. Saints have been criticised about their identity in recent weeks when it comes to signing loan players, but you cannot deny their identity when it comes to not writing themselves off. St Helens have a habit of bouncing back when the whole world is against them, and I am backing them to win at home on Sunday. In the end, I think it will be quite comfortable with the Saints winning by 16-20 points. I am backing Tristan Sailor, Jack Welsby and Jacob Douglas all to score for the Saints, while I expect Olly Ashall-Bott to cross for the visitors.

Where Can I Live Stream Super League Round 18?
Sky Sports is the main broadcaster for Super League and they promise to show every single game live each week. They will broadcast a main game on their TV channels, but if a game kicks off at the same time on the same day then it will be streamed on their Sky Sports + red button channel.
