Super League Round 20 Betting Acca & 1st Try Scorer Tips

Key Points
  • Rivals Round again in Round 20
  • Rovers to come out on top in Hull Derby?
  • Wigan to beat Saints again?

Super League reaches round 20 this weekend with another Rivals Round just three weeks after the last one. All the rivals faced off against each other at the Magic Weekend at Everton on July 4th and 5th, and they will all mee again this weekend.

Our rugby league expert and published author David Kuzio ended up with five out of seven last weekend with Catalans Dragons and Leeds Rhinos letting him down.

Below is his Super League Round 20 betting acca and he is quietly confident of getting a full house. Also on this page, you can bet on who you think will score the first try in each game this weekend. You can also check out his Super League Round 20 match previews.

Do you agree?

David's Super League Round 20 Betting Acca

All the main Rivals in Super League will meet again this weekend with some teams looking to get revenge and others to continue their dominance. Tensions will be high, and every game should be a thriller.

Thursday sees Hull FC entertain fierce rivals and defending champions Hull Kingston Rovers. Both sets of supporters believe this game is the biggest and best Derby in rugby league. They are wrong, but they still like to think it. It means a lot to everyone in Hull, but the truth is, it never lives up to the hype.

The Black and Whites have fallen short in recent years as the Robins have got stronger, but the games have not been that enjoyable for neutrals. Hull KR will be without Mikey Lewis through suspension, but weirdly I think his absence will benefit the Robins rather than Hull. Lewis is a brilliant player, but he has the tendency to be a liability if he loses his head. I think Rovers will have enough to beat Hull.

Friday sees a Yorkshire Derby between Wakefield Trinity and Castleford Tigers, and being honest this looks like being a better game than the one at Magic Weekend. The Tigers were hammered 48-6 by Wakefield, but they showed plenty of spirit last weekend when they came from behind to beat league leaders Leeds Rhinos 36-34. Cas have improved, but I have to back Wakefield in this one.

The biggest Derby in rugby league takes place on Friday evening with Wigan Warriors hosting St Helens at the Brick Community Stadium. Just like the Hull Derby, this is based on hatred, but this game hits different than any other. Wigan have not last since May 21 and have won their last seven league matches, while St Helens are hit and miss, although they do have a lot of injuries. Form goes out of the window when Wigan and Saints meet, but I cannot see anything less than a win for the Warriors.

There are three matches taking place on Saturday, and I cannot see there being any upsets in these games. York were too good for Huddersfield Giants at Magic, and although the Giants were impressive against Wigan last weekend, I still think York will have too much. Leigh hammered Warrington at Magic Weekend, and although I think the Leopards will win again, I cannot see it being as high scoring as their 24-6 win. The final game on Saturday is an all-France clash with Toulouse taking on Catalans Dragons. Toulouse can go level on points with the Dragons with a win, and I am backing that to happen.

Leeds Rhinos are now just two points clear of Wigan and Wakefield in second place after failing to beat Castleford Tigers. I am backing the Rhinos to bounce back in style with a comfortable victory over Bradford Bulls. The Bulls should be up for this as they have not beaten their fierce rivals since they returned to Super League, but I just do not think they are good enough. Betfred agree as they have not made any odds for Leeds winning.

Betfred Super League Betting Offers

Betfred is the principal sponsor of Super League, so it makes sense that they are running a couple of special offers every week. Below is the Betfred offers that will go hand in hand with Super League this season. These will obviously change each week, but it is a good starting point when it comes to Super League betting sites.

Hull FC vs Hull KR Offer 1

The Hull Derby will be a fierce affair. It might not be the most entertaining of games, but the chance of some biff happening is high. Mikey Lewis would have been involved in all of the confrontations, but he misses out through suspension. This will not alter the intensity. Betfred are offering odds of 5/2 that there will be a red card in this game.

Any Player To Be Sent Off - 5/2 @ Betfred

Rhinos On The Charge

Leeds Rhinos are currently top of the Super League ladder. Victory over Catalans Dragons in the South of France saw kept them four points clear of Wigan Warriors and Wakefield Trinity in second place. Can they stay there and advance to Old Trafford to win the Grand Final? Betfred has them at 6/4 to win the Super League Grand Final for a ninth time.

Leeds Rhinos to win the 2026 Super League Grand Final - 6/4 @ Betfred
