All Super League teams will be on European soil this weekend with six game sin the United Kingdom and one in France. Thursday night sees Wakefield Trinity do battle with Hull FC, with both teams with a record of one win and two defeats.
Leigh Leopards will be looking to bounce back from their 54-0 hammering at the hands of local rivals Wigan Warriors when they entertain a Catalans Dragons side who has lost their last two matches. The second game on Friday sees York Knights looking to improve their record of 2 wins and one loss when they take on the undefeated Warrington Wolves - who have won both their games this season.
There are two games on Saturday with Wigan making their first trip to France this season as they look to extend their winning start to four matches when they do battle with Toulouse. St Helens go in search of a third consecutive win as they welcome Bradford Bulls to the BrewDog Stadium - these two have played out some amazing battles in this past, hopefully this will be another one.
The weekend comes to a close with two more matches on Sunday. Both Hull Kingston Rovers and Leeds Rhinos will be in action to give them an extra day or twos rest following their exploits in Las Vegas. The Robins are away at winless Huddersfield Giants, while the Rhinos face a Castleford Tigers side looking for back-to-back wins.
David Kuzio is our rugby league expert and RL author here at Betting.co.uk. Last week he got four out of seven in his big acca for the third week running. Below is his predictions for round 4 and the season as a whole. Let's see if you agree with him.
Both Wakefield Trinity and Hull FC have not had the best of starts to the Super League season, but something will have to give this weekend. They both have record of one win and two defeats.
Wakefield went down 27-16 away at Warrington Wolves last Saturday, with their only victory this season coming in round two when they beat Huddersfield Giants - who are one of two teams not to win a game yet - 18-16.
Trinity boss Daryl Powell has revealed that star winger Tom Johnstone is nearing a return from a knee injury and should be back in action in the next week or two. Mason Lino is expected to feature after missing two matches with a hamstring problem. His return could see Jack Sinfield drop to the bench.
Hull FC started the campaign with a 27-20 victory over newly promoted Bradford Bulls, but things have gone from bad to worse with a 34-6 hammering at Wigan before losing 17-16 to York Knights.
The Black and Whites have been hit with problems themselves with Will Pryce out for the season with an ACL injury, while Liam Knight has left the club to return to Australia.
Although Johnstone and Pryce are both world class players, the loss of Pryce hits Hull harder than Wakefield's loss of Johnstone. Pryce is the main organiser and without him, Hull will struggle to make the play-offs.
I am backing home advantage in this game with Wakefield taking the points with a 13+ points victory. I am backing Oliver Pratt and Max Jowitt to both score tries.

This game is quite difficult to call. Not because both teams are in good form, it's actually the opposite. The Leopards and Dragons come into this game on the back of performances they would like to forget.
Leigh - who won their opening game against Leeds Rhinos - have crashed to back-to-back defeats against St Helens and Wigan Warriors - the latter being a thumping 54-0 loss.
Yes, the Leopards have injury problems with Edwin Ipape, David Armstrong, Bailey Hodgson,, Umyla Hanley, Joe Ofahengaue and Aaron Pene all missing, but they should still be performing better than they are. All sis players will be missing this week and will be out for a few more weeks yet.
Catalans Dragons started their campaign with a strong performance against Huddersfield Giants, but they have since crashed to convincing defeats against Bradford Bulls and St Helens.
The Saints defeat was hard to take for Joel Tomkins and his side. They matched the Saints for around 50 minutes before collapsing heavier than the England cricket team. They went from 6-0 down in the second half to losing 36-4.
The Dragons lost Ben Garcia to injury in the loss against St Helens and he will be absent for the trip to the Leopards Den. Guillermo Aispuro-Bichet returns for Catalans, while Chris Satae has been name din the 21-man squad.
Both teams are struggling and Leigh are probably hurting more with their injury list, but on home soil I cannot see them dropping points against the Dragons.
This will not be a classic, but I am backing Leigh to win by 1-12 points with Josh Charnley and Innes Senior both scoring tries.

I am hoping I can get a full house this week. The last few weeks a couple of surprise results have caught me off guard, but I am confident I will get it 100% right in week four.
There is just one game on Thursday, and I am backing Trinity to beat Hull FC. Both teams are not in the best of form, but Hull's injury list is getting longer each week, so a home win is on the cards.
Leigh and Catalans both come into this game on the back of a poor performance. The Leopards were hammered by Wigan Warriors, while the Dragons were turned over on home soil against the Saints. Deep down, Leigh are not a poor team and I am backing them to get back to winning ways following two successive defeats.
York Knights have started life in Super League like a house on fire. They have recorded wins over Hull KR and Hull FC, but I cannot see them troubling Warrington. The Knights have been impressive, but Warrington look the real deal this season. The Wolves have won both of their games this season and I expect them to remain unbeaten this weekend.
Wigan have won all three of their games this season and despite Jai Field being out after having Appendix surgery, I cannot see Toulouse coming close to the Warriors. St Helens have won two games on the bounce, and although they have plenty of injury problems, they should be too strong for Bradford.
Hull KR were woeful in Las Vegas as they were played off the park, but they should still be good enough to beat Huddersfield Giants even after a eventful two weeks. Leeds looked like genuine title contenders in their win over the Robins in Sin City, and they will do the same to Castleford Tigers.

Betfred is the principal sponsor of Super League, so it makes sense that they are running a couple of special offers ahead of the opening weekend.
Below is the Betfred offers that will go hand in hand with the start of Super League. These will obviously change each week, but it is a good starting point when it comes to Super League betting sites.
Wakefield Trinity battle Hull FC on Thursday evening with both teams looking to get back to winning ways. Max Jowitt is crucial to how well Wakefield play. If he is on top form and he gets the service he deserves, he is capable of leading Trinity to victory. You can back him to score and Wakey win at 5/2.
Max Jowitt to score a try & Wakefield win - 5/2 @ Betfred
This Betfred offer runs throughout the whole campaign and gives rugby league betting fans a great incentive to get involved. The Double Delight offer sees punters receive double the odds when their selected player scores the opening try of the game and then goes on to score another later in the game.
Wigan Warriors won back-to-back Grand Finals in 2023 and 2024, before losing their title in last season's Grand Final to Hull Kingston Rovers. The Warriors have not boosted their squad as much as others, but the return of Oliver Partington from Catalans Dragons has added some grunt in the pack. Betfred are backing Wigan to return to Old Trafford for the fourth successive year and regain their Super League title. Do you agree?
Wigan Warriors to win the 2026 Grand Final - 11/8 @ Betfred
Before the start of the Super League season, all the talk was about which one of the newly promoted teams would be relegated. Things have not gone that way and it Huddersfield Giants who have lost all three of their matches this season. If it carries on, backing them now at 7/2 will be a great bet.
Huddersfield Giants to finish bottom of Super League - 7/2 @ Betfred

A lot of people will disagree with me, and I am fine with that. It is a long season and a lot of things can happen with injuries and suspensions, but I feel Leigh will have their best season yet.
I have gone with the newly promoted teams to finish in the bottom three. This is not a dig at them, the step up to Super League is harsh. By the time they get to grips with the league, their season could already be over. I know both York and Toulouse managed two wins already, but can they match the same intensity every single week?
