Super League returns this weekend following the Challenge Cup and seven matches will take place with Wigan Warriors looking to remain the only team with a 100% winning record.
The Warriors have won all four of their opening Super League matches this season, and they face York Knights in Super League on Thursday for the first time ever. The Knights have surprised a few teams with their determination this year, but they should be no match for Wigan on home soil.
There are three matches on Friday with Toulouse hosting St Helens, Bradford Bulls are at home to Huddersfield Giants and Wakefield Trinity entertain Leigh Leopards. The Saints are going through a massive injury crisis at the moment, but they have still won three from four. I am going with a narrow away win for the Saints.
Bradford have started well in Super League, but they were well beaten in the Challenge Cup last weekend. They take on a poor Huddersfield side who are also struggling for fit players, so I am going for a home win for the Bulls.
Leigh are another team with injury problems and they have not won in Super League since round one. Their form has been erratic and they have to go to Wakefield for a result. Trinity is a difficult place to go at the bets of times, never mind when you are not in form. I'm backing another home victory here.
Warrington have a game in hand on every team apart from Hull KR, and they will be looking to make it four wins from four when they battle against a Castleford side struggling to hit top form on Saturday. The second game on Saturday sees Catalans Dragons go up against defending champions Hull KR. The Dragons are normally decent at home, but they are struggling at the moment, so I will go for an away win with the champions picking up their second victory of the season.
The final game of the weekend sees Hull FC take on Leeds Rhinos. Hull have injury concerns of their own, while Leeds will be eager to bounce back after being dumped out of the Challenge Cup. I am backing Leeds to win with Maika Sivo being a handful once again.
The last round of Super League saw me get six correct results from seven, while I got two wrong from eight in the Challenge Cup. I fancy my chances of getting a full house, although I would not be surprised if one team threw a spanner in the works.

To suggest that this will be a walkover for the Warriors would be an insult to York Knights and the Super League competition. Yes, the Knights are new to Super League and this is their first league meeting with Wigan, but it will be a harder game than many predict.
In the end, I think Wigan will win comfortably but it will not be a training session. York have started the season well, they have beaten Hull KR and Hull FC and have advanced to the quarter-finals of the Challenge Cup.
Wigan will be without star players Jai Field and Bevan French due to appendix and hamstring problems, while Jake Wardle is still on the sidelines with a knee injury.
York have David Nofoaluma available again after being cup-tied last week, while Sam Cook is expected to make his debut following his loan move from Newcastle Thunder. King Vuniyayawa has not been selected, while captain Liam Harris is injured.
I can only see a Wigan victory, but they will not have it all their own way. The Knights look solid under Mark Applegarth, but when it comes down to it, Wigan still have plenty of matchwinners in their team.
Harry Smith has been in sensational form this season and I am backing him to score a try in what will be 150th career appearance for the Warriors. Along with Smith, I am backing Adam Keighran, Zach Eckersley and Liam Marshall all to score tries.

Two teams who would prefer to be higher on the league ladder battle it out on Friday with Wakefield Trinity and Leigh Leopards looking to claim two valuable Super League points.
Trinity are currently in sixth position with a total of four points after two wins from four matches, while the Leopards are second from bottom with just one victory from four games.
Wakefield coach Daryl Powell has hooker Tyson Smoothy available after missing the last two games because of concussion, while Tray Lolesio drops out of the squad after securing a loan move to Bradford Bulls.
The Leopards' injury crisis has got worse this week with Keanan Brand and Andrew Badrock ruled out for a number of weeks. Brand has suffered an ankle injury and could be out for six weeks, while Badrock dislocated his shoulder and is possibly out for the remainder of the season.
The injuries to Brand and Badrock add to the long list of casualties with David Hodgson, Bailey Hodgson, Umyla Hanley and Edwin Ipape just a few on the sidelines.
The injury crisis will need to end soon as Adrian Lam is down to his bare bone, if they managed to win at Wakefield it would be one of the club's best wins since returning to Super League.
However, I cannot see Leigh beating Wakefield with so many players out. Trinity are good on home soil and I expect them to win comfortably by 13 or more points, while I am backing Oliver Pratt and Tom Johnstone both to score tries.

Betfred is the principal sponsor of Super League, so it makes sense that they are running a couple of special offers ahead of the opening weekend.
Below is the Betfred offers that will go hand in hand with the start of Super League. These will obviously change each week, but it is a good starting point when it comes to Super League betting sites.
Wigan Warriors take on York Knights on Thursday evening and there will be plenty of eyes on a young buck and an old timer. Jack Farrimond is only 20 years of age and he is showing he is ready for the big time, while York have NRL veteran David Nofoaluma on the wing as the 32-year-old looks to finally settle in England. Betfred are offering odds of 6/1 that both of them score tries.
Jack Farrimond & David Nofoaluma to score tries - 6/1 @ Betfred
This Betfred offer runs throughout the whole campaign and gives rugby league betting fans a great incentive to get involved. The Double Delight offer sees punters receive double the odds when their selected player scores the opening try of the game and then goes on to score another later in the game.
Wigan Warriors won back-to-back Grand Finals in 2023 and 2024, before losing their title in last season's Grand Final to Hull Kingston Rovers. The Warriors have not boosted their squad as much as others, but the return of Oliver Partington from Catalans Dragons has added some grunt in the pack. Betfred are backing Wigan to return to Old Trafford for the fourth successive year and regain their Super League title. Do you agree?
Wigan Warriors to win the 2026 Grand Final - 11/8 @ Betfred
Sky Sports is the main broadcaster for Super League and they promise to show every single game live each week. They will broadcast a main game on their TV channels, but if a game kicks off at the same time on the same day then it will be streamed on their Sky Sports + red button channel.
All seven games will be shown by Sky Sports in some capacity over the weekend. You can watch Super League on Sky Sports or Sky Sports + this weekend and stream it through the Sky Go app or with a NOW TV pass if you do not have a Sky subscription.
Bet365 will also be offering live streaming on Super League games this season. Which ever games are not being shown on the Sky Sports main channel, then they will be streamed live at Bet365. There will be no commentary on the matches, but you will see the live pictures.
League Leaders Winners - Leigh Leopards
Grand Final Winners - Wigan Warriors
Challenge Cup Winners - Hull FC
Man Of Steel - Harry Smith
A lot of people will disagree with me, and I am fine with that. It is a long season and a lot of things can happen with injuries and suspensions, but I feel Leigh will have their best season yet.
I have gone with the newly promoted teams to finish in the bottom three. This is not a dig at them, the step up to Super League is harsh. By the time they get to grips with the league, their season could already be over. I know both York and Toulouse managed two wins already, but can they match the same intensity every single week?
