15:05 Sandown – The Amateur Jockeys Handicap Chase 3m – Farceur Du Large

My NAP selection of the day comes in the three-mile Handicap Chase and although there are a few nice sorts in here, none are as strong as the favourite Farceur Du Large, who makes his second appearance for the Jamie Snowden team.

He was previously in training with Noel Meade over in Ireland, where he hadn’t been doing too well and was sold to Jamie Snowden for just £16,000. It must be said that Jamie Snowden does very well when he buys out of form sorts and seems to find a way to rejuvenate them. Point proven when Farceur Du Large won the Grand Military Gold Cup by over four lengths on his first outing for new connections, and he saw the trip out really well.

Champagne Court could have a chance here on his old form, but he has been out of sorts lately, but as a course and distance winner already, I think Farceur Du Large takes all the beating.
