Below, you'll find out who we are backing at Stamford Bridge, why we aren't putting our money on a Man City win, and why Sunday is a day for the visitors! Although we've opted to split our predictions into two worthwhile three-folds, remember that you can place singles or build a monster six-fold to enjoy across the whole weekend!

Saturday Acca Tips - 27/08/2022

Chelsea vs Leicester City (Chelsea to win) - 2/5

Stamford Bridge is a tough place to visit on top form, let alone the form that is currently held by Leicester. The Foxes have thrown away leads in two out of three of their Premier League matches this season, lost 4-2 against Arsenal, and were poor midweek against Stockport. After a disappointing result away at Elland Road last weekend, Chelsea will be hungry for 3 points this Saturday and we can’t see this one going any other way.

Man City vs Crystal Palace (Over 2.5 goals) - 21/50

After we fumbled it last week and predicted an easy Man City win, we are playing it safe with an over 2.5 goals bet this Saturday. On paper, it would be much too easy to suggest Man City will be back with a bang and secure the three points; however, as both teams have had a minimum of 2 goals in their last five matches, we have opted to predict a goal-fest instead.

Rangers vs Ross County (Rangers to win and BTTS: Yes) - 2/1

There is little dispute that Rangers should win this one; however, we feel that Ross County may manage to grab a consolation. Although currently sitting in ninth place, Ross County managed to win last week and they also netted in their 3-1 loss to Celtic. After a midweek battle against PSV, fatigue may well kick in towards the end of the second half for Rangers. If The Gers are already comfortably ahead at this point, concentration may well slip and Ross County may squeeze one in.

Sunday Acca Tips - 28/08/2022

Wolves vs Newcastle United (Newcastle United to win) - 17/10

Newcastle United are deservedly sitting in sixth place after two tough draws (Brighton and Man City) and a home win against Forest. Wolves, on the other hand, are sat in 18th place with just one point to their name. Despite some differences between the two, we predict this to be a close affair; however, when the final whistle blows, we predict the Toon Army to be adding points to their tally.

Nottingham Forest vs Tottenham (Tottenham to win) - 11/25

We’ve opted for the visitors again in this Sunday’s three-fold. Although Forest are looking like a  legitimate Premier League side, they are not looking as impressive as a Tottenham side that will, no doubt, be pushing for a European spot this season. Forest are still struggling to find the net, only managing to score twice in three games, while Tottenham have scored seven - this will be difference on Sunday.

Dundee United vs Celtic (Celtic to win) - 1/6

We revisit Scotland for the third leg of Sunday’s acca, backing Celtic all the way. Celtic go into this match with a goal difference of +11, 4 wins out of 4, and three clean sheets. When compared to Dundee United’s goal difference of -7, 1 point out of a possible 12, and a real problem finding the back of the net, it’s not too hard to see why we favour The Hoops.
