Saturday night's FA Cup action comes from Plough Lane with AFC Wimbledon hosting Dagenham & Redbridge.
AFC Wimbledon have started this season in stellar form. Johnnie Jackson's side currently sit seventh in League Two, three points off the automatic promotion places occupied by Port Vale, Walsall and Crewe.
The Dons have the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 14 goals. Much of the criticism for Jackson's side has come from their perceived feeble attack. However, in recent weeks, Wimbledon have picked up in the goalscoring department thanks to the goals of in-form striker Mathew Steves who has eight goals this season.
They enjoyed a fantastic FA Cup run in 2018/2019 reaching the fifth round, despite surviving relegation to League Two by just one point. The first round saw them defeat Non-League Haringey Borough 0-1 in a scrappy game, before beating FC Halifax 1-3 away from home in the Second Round.
The third round saw a third consecutive away tie, with AFC defeating Fleetwood 2-3. They were finally rewarded with a home tie in the fourth round, with Premier League side West Ham visiting Kingsmeadow. The Dons shocked the Irons 4-2.
A Kwesi Appiah opener was followed by a Scott Wagstaff brace to put the hosts 3-0 up after 46 minutes. Lucas Perez and Felipe Anderson scored to make it a nervy ending before Toby Sibbick sealed the deal in the 88th minute to send the crowd into raptures.
A famous 0-2 win away at bitter rivals MK Dons rewarded AFC Wimbledon with a second-round home tie against National League side Dagenham and Redbridge.
Dagenham have had a mixed start to the season and currently sit 14th in the league, five points from the playoffs and six from relegation. Despite a late wobble against ten-man Aldershot in midweek, the Daggers held firm to claim their league win in six attempts to ease some pressure on Ben Strevens.
A 1-5 qualfying win over Leiston saw them back in the FA Cup first round after falling shot the year before. They faced a resilient Crewe at Gresty Road in a tough test, but ran out 0-1 winners to claim an important scalp.
Dion Pereira was the scorer that day. If Dagenham are to get a result on Saturday, the Antiguan, with eight league goals to his name will be key.
AFC Wimbledon have the best defensive record in the league, conceding just 14 goals. In their eight home games, they've conceded just six goals. While The Daggers have scored 34 goals this season, only eight have come away from home. Away at higher opposition who don't concede many, they may struggle to find the scoresheet again on their travels.
