The international break may be upon us, but plenty of non-league teams are still in action. We have an 11.61 odds acca for Saturday's action, with four bets coming from the FA Trophy and one from the Southern League Central.
7th tier Bamber Bridge hosts 6th tier Farsley Celtic in the FA Trophy 2nd round.
Bamber Bridge currently sits 14th in the Northern Premier League, just one point clear of safety in a tight league. Jamie Milligan's side have been entertaining, scoring 27 goals and conceding 32 in 16 games for an average of 3.69 goals. At least three goals have been scored in 14 of their 16 league games, as well as in their last game in the FA Trophy.
Farsley Celtic sit 18th in the league, having lost five of their last seven games. The bizarre sacking of Clayton Donaldson has led to a poor run of fixtures that has plummeted them down the league and into relegation trouble. Due to renovations to their ground, the Celt Army had to start the season with eight consecutive away games, meaning 13 of their 17 league games have been away from home.
Their away games have seen an average of 2.69 goals, with 8/13 seeing at least three goals. Both sides will fancy their chances of winning, so a high-scoring clash could be in store.
Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
Two Sussex teams go head to head at Oaklands Park as Chichester host Worthing.
After winning the Isthmian League South East Division playoffs, Chichester earned promotion to the Isthmian Premier Divison. Miles Rutherford's side currently sit 14th in the league, having scored 20 and conceding 27 goals in 14 games for an average of 3.36. Eleven of their 14 league games have seen at least three goals, as well as four of their five cup games.
Worthing are looking to bounce back after last season's playoff final heartbreak and currently sit 8th in the National League South, with games in hand on those above them. Last season, The Rebels were in fine goalscoring form, with 104 league goals scored, and they continued that form into this campaign with 26 league goals already. Their 16 games have averaged 3.31 goals, with 9/16 seeing over 2.5 goals.
Prediction: Over 2.5 goals
Chorley play Marine in an all-National League North clash. The Magpies sit top of the league, while the visitors are in 22nd.
Andy Preece's side are on 32 points from 17 games and are ahead of strong sides of Kidderminster, Curzon Ashton and Scunthorpe in a tight National League North table. They boast the best home record in the league, with 20 points from nine games at Victory Park, with their only loss coming in the 92nd minute at home to Scarborough.
After shocking Macclesfield in the Northern Premier League playoff final, Marine had a disastrous summer transfer window, losing a host of key players. Neil Young's side occupy 22nd, just two points off bottom club Rushall Olympic. Away from home, they have struggled, picking up just four points and scoring just twice. The Mariners have scored a league-low seven goals.
In what should be a mismatch, Chorley presents value.
Prediction: Chorley To Win
After a dismal showing in their debut National League campaign, Oxford City were relegated to the National League North. The losing culture in the club was clear to see with a poor start to the season, but adored manager Ross Jenkins returned to the club in September and has steadied the ship.
The Hoops have only lost one of their last seven games in the league and come into this game full of confidence.
Sporting Khasla play two leagues below Oxford in the Northern Premier League Division One Midlands. The Lions are fourth in the division and playing well but have lost three away games on the bounce. Playing against a side two divisions above, they may struggle.
Prediction: Oxford City To Win
This accumulator's only non-FA Trophy game sees Southern League Central leaders Kettering host Bedford Town at Latimer Park.
The Poppies sit top with 32 points from 14, having won seven straight games in all competitions, including a 2-1 win over rivals Northampton Town in the FA Cup. Richard Lavery's side have also won eight straight in the league, winning six of their eight home games. The star-studded Kettering side features talent such as Nile Ranger, Bruno Andrade and Garry Hooper.
Recently promoted Bedford Town are the visitors on Saturday. Lee Bircham's side have lost three of their last five games and have slid outside the playoff positions.
Prediction: Kettering To Win
