Easter Monday sees the biggest game of the Non-League season so far, with Dorking hosting Worthing in a table-topping National League South clash. With Worthing's dramatic 2-1 win on Friday over Eastbourne Borough and Dorking losing 3-0 to Horsham, just three points separate the sides.
The sides were locked in a title battle last season, with both missing out on the final day. In what should be an enthralling encounter in front of a sold out Meadowbank, we preview the game.
Dorking's rise through the ranks is a familiar tale, culminating in two seasons in the National League. In their second season back at Step Six, Wanderers are looking to return to the pinnacle of Non-League football. Sat three points clear with four games to go, a win against their nearest competitors would put one hand on the title.
At home, no team has taken more points than Dorking who have taken 54 from a possible 63, winning 17 from 21. The issue for Marc White's side have been on the road, winning just one of the last five, ranking 15th for points on the road.
With 74 goals scored and 53 conceded in 42 games, Dorking games have not been short of entertainment - as was the reverse fixture with Worthing. The Rebels ran out 3-2 winners in a highly exciting affair. It made it three games in a row unbeaten for Worthing who took four points from Dorking the previous season.
Injuries have continued to plague the Wanderers who had to play two makeshift centre backs in the 3-0 loss to Horsham. While Louis Annesley was on the bench, the Gibraltarian international should make his return. In terms of key players, Harrison Foulkes has been a mainstay in goal and looks set to win the player of the season award. If Dorking are to get a result on Monday, the 25-year-old goalkeeper will be crucial.
Worthing have had a topsy-turvy season and will be looking to avoid a fourth straight playoff campaign. Despite a slow start to this season, Chris Agutter was poached by National League side Sutton United. Adam Hinshelwood made a dramatic return to Woodside Road and instantly made an impact, winning 11 of his first 12 league games in charge, including a 3-2 win in the reverse.
This run put The Rebels top of the league heading into the new year, but a series of disappointing results saw them go nine without a win. Since the 4-1 win over Slough, Worthing have lost just twice in 11 - both narrow away losses in which they were the better side. When things looked to be over in the title race, Hinshelwood's side scored two late goals against Sussex rivals Eastbourne, causing pandemonium at Woodside Road.

With 87 goals scored, Worthing are the league top scorers - mainly thanks to Brad Dolaghan's 22 goals, while Razzaq Coleman De-Graft (11 goals) and Teddy Jenks (12) have added to the tally. Signed in March from Slough, Wiktor Makowski already boasts a goal and an assist in four starts, taking his tally to the season to 27 goal contributions.
Dorking's home record is imperious, while Worthing are inconsistent on the road. With Worthing's momentum and Dorking's injury crisis, the game looks tough to split.
Score Prediction: 1-1
