Luke Trotman is to leave Darlington.
The full-back has been with the club since November 2017 but had his 2019/20 season curtailed by injury within the first month.
The England C international notably featured on ITV programme Love Island, on which he finished in second place.
Darlo have explained: "Luke has indicated that now his contract has ended, the travel from his home in Bedfordshire to the North East is an issue for him, but DFC will be seeking compensation should he wish to sign for another club, as he is under the age of 24."
