Ford Motors are to resign from the Cheshire League with immediate effect.
Manager Karl Brown stepped down earlier this month and that was mentioned as part of this morning's statement from the league, which reads as follows:
@fords_fc have informed the League that they are resigning with immediate effect.
They recently lost their manager and a large number of players.
Their record will be expunged from the record
