Notts County will be eyeing up a bumper Boxing Day goals return when they travel to King’s Lynn Town on Sunday afternoon, with wins also expected for Torquay United, Stockport County and Dagenham & Redbridge.

Ian Burchnall will be hoping his Notts County side will be treated to a Boxing Day feast when they travel to relegation-threatened King’s Lynn Town on Sunday, with the promotion-chasing Magpies targeting a bumper goals haul.
Only four teams in the National League have scored more goals than Notts County this season, whilst just rock-bottom Dover Athletic have conceded more than the much-maligned King’s Lynn backline.
It could be a difficult afternoon for new boss Tommy Widdrington’s side, with the visitors priced at 11/2 on Betfred to net over 3.5 goals this weekend.
Time is running out for Southend United if they wish to mount a 2022 promotion push, with the Shrimpers currently looking more likely to suffer a third consecutive relegation.
For Bromley, their form couldn’t be further away from this weekend’s opponents, with the only thing on Andy Woodman’s Christmas list a promotion party when the season concludes in May.
Despite their 15 place gap in the National League table, this will be the first time the two have ever met in a competitive fixture, with Betfred’s competitive 8/11 price for both teams to score yes, looking like a sensible punt.
Had things gone the opposite way, Torquay United would’ve been ending 2021 as a Football League club, but such is the perils of the National League playoffs, they remain in the fifth tier.
Looking to spark a 2022 promotion push themselves, Torquay will be targeting three points when Yeovil Town visit Plainmoor on Boxing Day, with the Glovers boasting only one win from their previous six trips to Devon.
Whilst that victory did come the last time the two met at Plainmoor, Torquay are well placed to continue their upwards trajectory and come in at 21/10 on Betfred to win both halves.
Once upon a time, Boxing Day fixture lists were filled with derby clashes up and down the country, yet there are few remaining matches in this weekend’s programme that come closer to Stockport County vs Altrincham.
The nine-mile journey is likely about as close as it will get for this one, with Dave Challinor’s Stockport side hoping to extend their unbeaten run to 10 matches against Altrincham.
Expect Phil Parkinson’s Robins to give the Hatters a match, but not so much they’ll take three points, with both teams to score and Stockport win coming in at 11/4 on Betfred.
There is little optimism heading into the New Year for a Dover side marooned at the bottom of the National League table, with Dagenham & Redbridge looking to pile the misery on this weekend.
Dagenham & Redbridge will enter the festive period within touching distance of the playoffs spots and have lost only one of their previous four against Dover.
Likely to be a comfortable Daggers win, a -2.0 handicap for the visitors comes in at 7/2 on Betfred.
