CrowdScores, the social football scores network, has announced that it will be the first-ever company to provide coverage of the North West Counties Football League within a live-scores mobile application.

This will allow fans of the North West Counties to receive not only immediate goal notifications across the league, but also the platform to engage in conversation with other fans of the competition within the app.

As a company that sources its football data from its community of users, this provides the perfect opportunity for fans of the North West Counties Football League to report match events from the stadium to enable their fellow fans to keep track of their favourite team. This can give fans unprecedented and instant access directly from their mobile phone.

The CrowdScores CEO, David Walker, is enthusiastic about this new development:

“We are delighted to announce the inclusion of the North West Counties Football League in the CrowdScores app. CrowdScores aims to provide a live score service for fans at all levels of football and the addition of this unique service is an important step towards that goal.”

Martin Fallon, Website Development Officer, added: "We all use Twitter on a matchday to see what else is going on around the league. The CrowdScores app takes this one stage further so that you can quickly glance to see what the current situation is at all games taking place that day.

"Another great feature for me is the interactivity, where anybody who is in attendance at a match can sign up for free and update the rest of the league as soon as a goal is scored. From the trials that we have done so far, this is often quicker than Twitter as it is so easy to use! We will be trialling the service for the remainder of the season in the Premier Division, and will roll it out for all games next season if it proves a success.

"You can download the App for free from the App Store for iPhone or Google Play for Android devices. For those who are not technical and are unsure what an "app" is, we have also created a page on the website which will have the live score updates from the app. This can be found on a matchday at http://www.nwcfl.com/livescores"
