Away from the glitz and the glamour of the Champions League, we are treated to even more Non-League games this midweek and I will be previewing my best bets for some of these games.
A crucial relegation battle takes place at the York Community Stadium as 21st place York City host AFC Fylde.
In an unpredictable and hectic season, just seven points separate Southend in 12th and Woking in 23rd. York are currently in the relegation zone and are one of the favourites for relegation based on this.
Michael Morton was sacked in August after 24 games in charge before being replaced by the hugely popular Neal Ardley. He lasted ten more games than Morton, before being relieved of his duties at the end of February.
The York owners are extremely ambitious and have pumped money into the club with the eventual aim of getting the club to the Football League. The man they've landed on to deliver that vision is Adam Hinshelwood, who left Worthing 3rd in the National League South to join a struggling York side.
Games involving Hinshelwood and Worthing were certainly entertaining with the 77 goals scored by the Rebels in his 35 games in charge this season by far the most in the league. However, his attacking philosophy had its draw-backs as Worthing had conceded 54 in 35 games. 24 of his 35 games this season has seen over 2.5 goals.
The 40-year-old has already transferred his attacking philosophy to York, with his side losing 2-3 in their fist game under his management.
York host an Afc Fylde side who have scored 60 goals (the most in the bottom half) and conceded 65 (the fifth most in the league), with their games averaging 3.47 goals. The Coasters are giving survival a real go, losing just two of their last eleven league games.
A league high 15/17 away games for AFC Fylde have seen over 2.5 goals. It should be an entertaining match between two relegation threatened sides.
Best Bet: Over 2.5, 3.0 goal line @ 1.875
Moving away from a relegation battle on to a battle for the playoffs as fifth place Gateshead host fourth place Solihull Moors in a crunch game for both sides.
Despite a small blip to start January in which the Tynesiders lost three in a row without scoring, as well as losing manager Mike Williamson and key man Stephen Wearne, Gateshead remain well in the hunt for the playoffs, especially when you consider seven of their final eleven games are at home.
Now under the temporary stewardship of Rob Elliot, Gateshead will know the playoffs are well within their reach. Their high position in the table owes a lot to their attacking talent, with only runaway leaders Chesterfield scoring more goals than Elliot's side, with their games averaging 3.25 goals. 11/16 of their home games have seen over 2.5 goals.
They host a Solihull Moors side who are one place and point above them.
After taking a huge risk in the summer by appointing Banbury manager Andy Whing, Solihull Moors are enjoying a fruitful season and currently have a five point cushion over the chasing pack outside the playoffs.
With 57 goals scored and 50 conceded in 36 games, their games are averaging just shy of three goals. 13/18 of Moors away games have seen over 2.5 goals, including their last nine.
The reverse fixture saw Gateshead run out 1-2 winners.
Best Bet: Over 3.0 goal line @1.975
Canvey Island sit 16 points clear of relegation and 12 points off the playoffs so may consider their season done. Saturday's opponents Lewes however will have full belief of reaching the playoffs as they now sit just four points off fifth place Horsham.
Canvey Island have scored an impressive 48 goals but conceded 60 - the third most in the league. They've seen an average of 3.14 goals in their games, including a joint league high 24/31 (77%) and nine of their last ten.
One of these games was the Saturday journey to Sussex to face Lewes, with three stoppage time goals seeing a dramatic game end 2-2. This result meant the last eleven Lewes games have now seen at least three goals, with the Rooks games this season seeing an average of 3.45 goals.
Best Bet: Over 3.0 goal line @1.800
