Two relegation candidates in Braintree and Tamworth face off at Cressing Road Stadium in what should be a cagey match.
After winning the playoffs against the odds, Angelo Harrop's had a tough start to the season, losing 3-0 at Oldham and 0-1 at home to Yeovil. The Iron then went five games unbeaten, starting with a 2-1 win at home to Aldershot, before four consecutive low-scoring draws.
Braintree are coming into this game off the back of back-to-back tough away losses against promotion hopefuls York City and Barnet and now sit in the relegation zone. Their games have been low-scoring, averaging just 1.77 goals.
Tamworth sit one place above Saturday's host after an impressive 3-1 win at home to Maidenhead. It was the Lambs' second victory of the season, after previously defeating Aldershot 3-2.
While Scunthorpe were heavy favourites for last season's National League North title, nobody would have predicted that Southern League Central champions Tamworth would beat them to the title by eight points.
The Lambs were relentless, only conceding 29 goals and scoring 74, with Andy Peaks' side storming to the title on 96 points. Their home record was imperative to this promotion, gaining 52 points at home, scoring 43 and conceding just 12.
Tamworth will lean on their resilient defence if they are to survive. While their games have averaged three goals a game, the 7-0 drubbing at Barnet is a big outlier.
Prediction Under 2.5 goals @1.775 - bet365
Correct Score Prediction: 1-1
Tonbridge Angels have had an unbeaten start to the season and currently sit third in the league. Jay Saunders side have been solid defensively and have kept five clean sheets in a row, only conceding five goals - the fewest in the league. The Angels games have averaged just two goals per game, with the 3-2 home win over Weymouth and the 2-2 draw at Aveley to start the season the only games to see over 2.5 goals.
They host a Hampton & Richmond side who have had a disappointing start to the season, currently sat 18th in the league. Alan Julian's side's games have also averaged just two goals a game, with the Beavers seeing under 2.5 goals in six of their eight games.
Prediction: Under 2.5 goals @1.70
Correct Score Prediction: 1-0
After finishing 13th last season, Weston Super Mare have started this season very strongly as they chase an unlikely playoff place. The Seagulls started the season with a disappointing collapse against Worthing - losing 3-4 despite being 3-0 up at halftime. They have then remained unbeaten, winning five games on the bounce, before drawing 0-0 away at St. Albans.
Scott Bartlett's side currently sit fourth, scoring 13 goals and conceding just eight. Since the opening-day collapse against Worthing, they've won all three games at the Optima Stadium, beating Chelmsford, Hornchurch and Slough.
Dorking are the visitors on Saturday after relegation from the National League. Marc White's side are currently 13th after a disappointing, injury-filled start to the season. Despite an unbeaten trio of games at the start of the season, Dorking have won just once over the next five league games, as well as a disappointing 1-0 loss at Horsham in the FA Cup yet again.
The Wanderers have failed to win and have picked up just four points on their travels this season, continuing on last season's abysmal away record. In what is a long and arduous journey to Somerset for a thin, stretched squad, Dorking may struggle to get a result.
Prediction: Weston Super Mare draw no bet @1.72
Prediction: Weston Super Mare to win & Both Teams To Score @4.50
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1
A 15th-place finish for Weymouth last season was a solid finish, especially considering their early season woes. This season's predicament looks harder to amend, the Terras started the season with seven straight defeats, drawing a blank in six of these. They then beat heavy-favourites Dorking at the Meadowbank to kick start their season.
While only 3/8 of their games have seen over 2.5 goals, they face a potent Worthing side.
Worthing scored a mammoth 104 goals last season. The Rebels have had to play their first six games away from home due to work on their ground.
Their first home game was a disappointing 0-0 with Hornchurch which they dominated but just couldn't find the breakthrough. Chris Agutter's side sit 11th in the league with a game in hand on those above them, having scored 12 goals and conceded 14 in just seven games.
The opening-day win at promotion-chasing Weston Super-Mare was the epitome of the Rebels' exciting style of play. Despite being 3-0 down at half time, Worthing ended up winning 3-4 in an inspired second-half comeback. All three of their victories have seen both teams scoring, as well as the 3-2 win over Havant & Waterlooville in the FA Cup.
In Tommy Willard, Danny Cashman and Jack Spong they have three of the best attackers in the league. Worthing also just signed Muhammadu Faal from Crawley, just months after he made the switch. The 27-year-old is a clinical striker at this level and will elevate Worthing's already potent attack to the next level.
Prediction: Over 3.0 Asian Line @1.850
Prediction: Worthing win & Both Teams To Score @3.10
