Non-League is heading into a busy winter period, with games coming thick and fast. We have four best bets from an action-packed midweek slate.
Chesham stormed to the Southern Premier League South title last year and have adapted to life in the National League South well this year. Under the joint management of James Duncan and Michael Murray, the Generals sit 12th with multiple games in hand on those around them.
A 2-1 defeat at second place Truro halted a run of four games unbeaten, but Chesham were good value for their 41st-minute lead. With 27 goals scored, and 22 conceded in just 15 games, their matches see an average of 3.27 goals, with BTTS landing in a league-high 13/15.
10th place, Hampton & Richmond are the visitors to The Meadow on Tuesday. The Beavers have won five on the bounce, conceding just once. This came after three losses in a row without scoring. After missing out on the playoffs by just one point last season, Alan Julian's side had Top Seven ambitions this year but started the season slowly.
However, the recent upturn of form shows that Borough will be challenging near the top again. With 24 goals scored already this season, Hampton and Richmond will fancy their chances of scoring against a Chesham with just two clean sheets this season.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score @1.80
After shocking the Isthmian South East division by winning the playoffs, Chichester now sits 13th in the Isthmian Premier Division. Their games average 3.4 goals, with 23 scored and 28 conceded in 15 matches. Of these 15 games, 13 have seen at least three goals, with Chichester scoring in 13/15.
Dartford were surprisingly relegated from the National League South despite being tipped by many for promotion. The Darts now sit mid-table in the seventh tier. Their games are averaging 2.8 goals, with four of their six away games seeing at least three goals. Adrian Pennock's side have scored in 12/15 games.
Prediction: Over 3.0 Goal Line @1.950
The best home side in the league, Hendon, hosts the worst away side in the league, Whitehawk.
Hendon came 10th in the Southern Premier League South and were transferred over to the Isthmian Premier Division this year for geographic reasons.
The Greens are currently ninth in the league, owing mainly to their home form. They've picked up 19 points from eight home games, including winning their last two 3-0 and 9-0.
Visiting Silver Jubilee Park are Whitehawk. The Hawks are heading in a downward trajectory and now sit bottom of the league. After sacking Ross McNeilly after a few games, they saw a slight upturn in form, drawing 0-0 with Cray Wanderers and Billericay. However, the last four games have seen Whitehawk revert back to early season form, losing 2-0 at Hastings, 2-1 at Canvey Island, 0-2 at home to Wingate & Finchley and 5-0 to Chatham.
Away from home, Whitehawk have picked up just two points from eight games, scoring five goals and conceding 22. Against a potent Hendon attack that just put nine past Hastings, it would not be a surprise to see a repeat of the 3-0 scoreline that occurred when the sides met in an FA Cup qualifier earlier in the season.
Prediction: Hendon -1 Asian Handicap @1.925
Weymouth looked dead and buried after losing six of their first seven games, failing to score in all bar the opener at Tonbridge. However, a shock win at Dorking kickstarted a run in which the Terras lost just once in nine league games. A 1-0 loss at Hornchurch saw Weymouth remain in the relegation zone, but things are slowly looking up for Mark Molesley's side.
After their 1-0 loss to Enfield at the start of October, Weymouth went on to draw five of the next six games 1-1, with a 0-1 win at Aveley the exception. Since their dismal opening four home games, Weymouth have drawn the next four games at the Bob Lucas Stadium 1-1.
Truro now sit second after a 2-1 win at home to Chesham on Saturday. It made it 15/18 games in which the Tinners had scored, with BTTS now landing in six of their last seven league games. Of their eight away games, six have seen BTTS, with the exceptions of the 1-0 loss at Boreham Wood and Bath.
Tyler Harvey and Jake Kabia both scored on Saturday to make it 12 and nine for the season, respectively, so Truro have plenty of attacking strength to cause Weymouth issues.
Prediction: Both Teams To Score @2.00
