Wealdstone booked their place in the 2025–26 Isuzu FA Trophy final through a series of results across five rounds of the competition. Their run featured narrow victories, a penalty shoot-out and a semi-final decided by a late goal.
Wealdstone opened their FA Trophy campaign at Grosvenor Vale with a third-round match against Cheshunt. It was a tight opening half, with the sides going in level, before two goals in nine minutes from Micah Obiero and Connor McAvoy put the hosts 2-0 up. Jesse Effa halved the deficit in the 82nd minute, but Stone held firm to progress.
Wealdstone 1–0 Dagenham & Redbridge
The next round saw another home game, this time against National League South side Dagenham & Redbridge. It was another tense affair with Obiero the hero again scoring in the 81st minute to secure the 1-0 win.
Wealdstone’s most emphatic result of the run came on away to National League high flyers Forest Green Rovers. The visitors scored first through Enzio Boldewijn in the first half and added a second via Olufela Olomola on the hour mark. A late Sean Adarkwa goal completed the 3-0 scoreline, setting up a quarter-final tie away at National League North Kidderminster.
Kidderminster Harriers 1–1 Wealdstone (Wealdstone won 6–5 on penalties)
Unlike the games against Cheshunt and Dagenham, Wealdstone’s quarter final tie got off to a fast start, goals from Enzio Boldewijn and Ryley Reynolds saw the game level after 25 minutes. Despite a late Boldewijn red, The Stones held firm to take the game to penalties - winning 6-5 and progressing to the semi-final.
In the semi-final at Grosvenor Vale Wealdstone faced Marine. In a closely contested match with few clear opportunities, the winner came late when Micah Obiero struck to be the hero once more and send his side to Wembley.
