Welcome to our 100% honest AvaBet reviews. Take a look below to see whether Avabet UK is the bee’s knees or a bag of spanners!
To be honest we really liked Avabet. It gave us decent odds on lots of sports and threw in some casino games too. We even got a tasty welcome bonus to get us started. But is Avabet secure? Good question and one that we’ll answer more fully in a bit. Keep reading to see what happened in our Avabet reviews!
Avabet UK has a couple of decent sign up offers waiting for you. The first one we’ll look at is the sports betting bonus. It’s a small but perfectly formed deal that will simply give you a £10 bonus bet token if your first bet at Avabet loses.
All that you have to do is to sign up to Avabet for the first time and then make a qualifying deposit and bet at least £10 on odds of 1.50 or more. If your bet loses, you’ll get your stake refunded in site credit that you can use to try your luck again. If your bet wins, you’ll pick up your winnings as normal. There aren’t too many nasties lurking in the small print, only that you can’t withdraw your bonus, it has to be used within seven days, and you can’t make your qualifying deposit with an ewallet.
There’s an equally good casino bonus. This matches your first qualifying deposit by 50% up to £100. You then get seven days to use your bonus credit and fulfil the wagering conditions. This means having to wager your bonus at least 35 times on the Emerald King Rainbow and Classic Fruit games.
Avabet has put together a betting site that might seem a bit overly complicated but it gets the job done. Loading up the main sports betting page has more menus and submenus than is probably necessary, but it’s good to have all of the options to hand. Similarly, the casino page crams in a billion different games and you’re made to browse through them according to game type, developer and so on.
Thankfully it’s a fast-loading gambling site and everything worked as we hoped it would. The only downer was the fact that there’s no Avabet app, but we managed to get the site to work on the browser of an iPhone without a problem.
Let’s talk about cash. Avabet is more than happy to take your money from a minimum of £5 at a time. Most people will probably be making deposits with a debit card like Visa or MasterCard, but you can also use PayPal, Neteller, Skrill and a few other ewallets we hadn’t heard of. Our deposits went through immediately without any fees being imposed.
But is Avabet secure for making withdrawals? Yes, it is as we managed to get paid to the same payment method used for making our deposits with no fuss. Our withdrawal came through in just over two working days. Not bad.
Avabet UK can be counted on to deliver good customer service. There’s a live chat icon in the bottom-right of the website and you can also hit the Contact Us tab which will bring up an email support form. Both of which worked fine for us, although it would have been nice if there had been some kind of telephone support.
There’s a fairly small FAQ section on the Avabet site that does a so-so job of answering your questions, and you can even hassle Avabet on its social media channels.
You don’t have to worry about Avabet running off with your cash as it’s got a license from the UKGC. This basically means that it’s legal to bet here and that you won’t see your deposits vanishing into smoke. It’s also good to see that Avabet is part of the Independent Betting Adjudication Service that can come to your help if there are any betting disputes - not that that would ever happen to anyone like us!
Rewards & Loyalty Program - The only weak part of our Avabet ratings
This is about the only point where Avabet let us down as they have absolutely nothing in terms of promos for existing customers. No reward programs, no loyalty schemes, no over-hyped VIP clubs. Sorry!
But is Avabet secure in how it handles your personal data? Yes, it is as it runs a completely encrypted website so that you don’t have to worry about your information being farmed out to some dodgy ad agency.
This is about the only point where Avabet let us down as they have absolutely nothing in terms of promos for existing customers. No reward programs, no loyalty schemes, no over-hyped VIP clubs. Sorry!
Avabet has way more bets than you’re ever going to need. Obviously it’s got thousands of football bets, but it’s also overflowing with bets on everything else like cricket, rugby, tennis, basketball, and so on. We even saw bets for things called bandy and lacrosse, but we’re not entirely sure what they are.
So let’s look at your average Premier League footy match. Here Avabet gives you well over 500 different betting markets. This means that you’ll always find plenty of different ways for predicting how Tottenham are going to bottle it, how Man U will get even worse and so on. Plenty of fun for the average sports fan!
We couldn’t really give you any decent Avabet ratings without taking a look at its odds. So we put Avabet against a big bookie with famously bad TV advertising to see how their odds compared for a Premier League match between Arsenal and Chelsea.
To be honest we hate both teams so we had no interest in who won, but we were interested to see that Avabet managed to keep up with its competitor’s odds. It didn’t matter whether you backed Arsenal to win, Chelsea to win or both teams to spontaneously combust as Avabet always managed to put on competitive odds. The only thing that might have made this a bit sweeter would have been if Avabet had put on some odds boosts, but you can’t have everything.
Want to bet live on Slovakian football or German badminton? Well, now’s your chance! Avabet has a live betting service that lets you bet live on way more sports than is sensible. You can come here and know that you’ll get live bets for volleyball, table tennis, handball and pretty much anything else with a ball in it.
To be fair, the live betting platform is pretty good and you’ll get way more live statistics compared to some other bookies. Plus we were strangely spellbound by the graphic visualiser that showed us roughly what was happening in an under-19 game of football in Turin. There’s not too much live streaming here, just a decent live betting platform which is fine by us.
We found that Avabet lets you win anywhere up to £100,000 with a single bet on Premier League football. Not bad, but not quite as generous as you can get with some larger bookies. For smaller sports, your potential winnings may be capped at £25,000 which may be a bit disappointing, but it’ll still nearly get you a pint in London.
The maximum amount you can bet varies according to what you’re betting on, what bet type it is, what your star sign is and so on. You can put down your sports bets from 10p at a time. All of which are roughly on par with what you get at other bookmaker sites.
First of all our Avabet reviews showed us that this is a quality bookie and the bets you get here are just as good as you’d get at Bwin UK. But is Avabet reliable in the odds that it puts on? We think so as it showed itself to be just as competitive in its odds for anything from Premier League football to Test match cricket.
It’s also a good site for live betting as you’ll be bombarded with a bunch of statistics that’ll make you look much smarter than you actually are. The only downer was the fact that Avabet’s limits on your potential winnings are a little lower than what you can get elsewhere. But some winnings are better than no winnings at all. So best to sign up to Avabet and see how it works for you.
We had to give some decent Avabet ratings for its gaming software as everything played fine without any problems. You can play all of these games directly from your web browser which is good news as we’re not massive fans of downloading yet more junk to our computers.
Plus we should note that most of the casino games here come from some pretty impressive casino game developers. Want to see a big long list of names? We thought you’d never ask: 1x2 Network, Evolution, Wazdan, Pragmatic Play, Playtech, Probability Jones, Play ’n Go, Realistic Games, Red Tiger, Netent, iSoftBet, you get the idea by now...
With all of the above developers, you’ll have guessed that there are lots of casino games at Avabet. Well, you’re right as there are simply hundreds of them. Slot games are everywhere here so that you’ll get to play daft games like 90K Yeti Gigablox, Monkey Warrior and Extra Juicy. The only downer here was that we couldn’t see as many progressive jackpot slots as you get at some other casinos.
Table gamers are well taken care of here as you’ll get tons of different variants of all of the classics like roulette, blackjack and so on. There were also lots of games like three card brag, baccarat, video poker and some of those game show games like First Person Megaball.
Avabet has way more live dealer games than you're going to get at the average online casino. There were dozens of different live casino games here that took in everything from the standard game of live roulette to snazzy game show games like Crazy Time and Dream Catcher. Our favourites were probably those that updated table games in some interesting ways with Lightning Roulette, Blackjack Party and Side Bet City being pick of the bunch. So that whether you want to play live dealer versions of anything from baccarat and craps to sic bo and double ball roulette, you’ll probably find it at Avabet.
The terms and conditions of Avabet’s website clearly state that, ‘where applicable, maximum payouts will be indicated to you in the Rules or elsewhere on the Casino Website.’ However, we couldn’t find any evidence of there being any maximum payouts no matter where we looked. Still, we appreciated the fact that Avabet seemed to let you bet on casino games with stakes that were reasonable and didn’t push us too far our of our comfort zone.
Avabet has done a solid job with its online casino. It’s got way more games than you’re ever going to play and all of them looked good too. The relative lack of progressive jackpots is a bit rubbish, but all of the slots we played were good and fun to play.
If anything, Avabet is probably best at table gaming and it has lots more variants of things like roulette and blackjack than you’re going to get anywhere else. Plus with a great live casino game, we think that you’re going to love what you find at the Avabet casino.

The good news is that the customer support at Avabet is just as good as that found in our Matchbook reviews. There are plenty of Avabet reviews circulating around the internet, but most of those reviews are pretty useless. After all, the majority of the reviews are out of date at best, and some are even completely biased. Thankfully our review of Avabet is 100% honest and we’ll make sure that it’s constantly updated. This will help you see whether Avabet has what it takes to be among the best UK bookmakers.
Avabet is a decent gambling site. The sports bets are good, the casino games do the job, and the whole thing is put together in a safe and legal package. It may be missing a few fancy features like having its own app or promos like odds boosts, but Avabet is a betting site you can depend on.
Consider it the Crystal Palace of the betting world. Not always a crowd-pleaser, but capable of a solid mid-table position. Sign up to Avabet and see for yourself!
