The Bet365 cash out feature is one of my favourites on offer from the online bookmaker. They offer auto, partial, and full cash out options in certain circumstances. I’ll explain how they work in this article.
I’ll also answer common questions surrounding the cash out feature. These include knowing how to choose a type of cash out feature. Read on to get more details.
Cash out comes in three forms, as I note in the below table. The idea is that you can cash out your bet before the market closes, and you can do this in several ways:
Cashout type | Explanation |
---|---|
Auto | Set your bet to automatically cash out |
Partial | Set part of your bet to cash out and leave the rest to run |
Full | Set your bet to cash out in full as per the amount shown |
I know you’ll be wondering how the feature works. I’ve got the answers here. This feature works separately to any other promotions you might see, including the Bet365 ACCA boosts.
As with all Bet365 offers, it’s important to be sure you know the rules and how they work. In this case, the cash out option allows you to cash out a portion of your bet before the market ends. Let’s say you bet on the outcome of a football match, but partway through, you realise there is a chance it may not reach the outcome you had bet on. If you have an option to cash out, you can choose to cash out an amount of your stake before the match finishes. This means you are essentially insuring against a result that doesn’t go your way, and you can reduce the losses your bet might have had.
If the market has been suspended, the cash out option will no longer be valid. It also doesn’t work for all events. In some cases, you will see it applied to bets made before an event or match begins, but it will then vanish. There will be variations from sport to sport, for example, depending on whether they cover a match while in-play. If you think you might want to use the cash out feature, take note of when a match or event starts, so you know the deadline for choosing to cash out if applicable.
Look for the part of the website covering all their site features. I spotted the Extras option to the far right of the menu at the top of the site. This opens a new page explaining more about the site features. This contains a series of panels each covering an individual feature. One such feature is the cash out offer. I accessed that to read more about it before trying to use it. For a full precis of the entire site, read the Bet365 review here as well.
This means you can set the controls to automatically cash out your bet if it reaches a predetermined threshold you set for it. This also works if your bet exceeds that threshold. You can check whether you’re able to do this once you’ve placed the bet, and if you can, the site will settle your bet for you and you’ll receive the funds in your account even if you’re not there to see this happen.
The cash out button will show an amount, but I noticed that it is possible to cash out a slice of this and not the whole thing in some cases. You will see the controls for this if it is relevant for your bet. Simply choose the value you want to cash out and create a rule for it using the controls provided. This means that if your bet does reach the value you have chosen, you’ll receive that amount and the remainder will continue until the final result is known. This also works for multiple bets, which means you can cash out if you get, say, three successes in a series of four bets, and leave the final bet to run.
Inside your account, you’ll spot a My Bets section. This tells you how many unsettled bets you’ve got at present. If you access that section, you will be able to see whether there are any unsettled bets that provide a cash out option. It will also reveal the relevant cash out amount as things stand at that moment.
It’s a solid addition to what is already a trusted bookmaker. Bet365 is known for offering excellent promotions and bonus features, and I think this is another of those. It makes Bet365 stand out, and while it’s not available across the board, it will appear quite often as an option for you to consider. Once you’ve read the rules surrounding it, you can see whether you want to use it at some stage too. Having full, partial, and auto cash out options makes it all the sweeter.
Yes, many of these options are available with Bet365 cash out. The feature does not apply to teasers or parlay bets though.
Not all bets will qualify for this feature. The good news is that you can easily tell which ones do by accessing the My Bets area of your account.
This means the option is not available for your current bet at Bet365.
