Betano are an established international sports betting provider, who are finally joining the UK market in early summer 2024 after successes in Europe, Africa, and Canada.
In my Betano review, I’ll tell you why I’m so excited that this sportsbook will be joining the UK soon. It could be the awesome features they’ve got planned, like acca boosts, bet builders, and watch and bet tool that gives you the ability to make wagers on live sports without having to miss a second of the action.
At the time of writing this Betano review, I don’t have confirmation of the welcome deal Betano is planning to offer UK punters but you can expect it to be good. They favour deposit matches heavily so it may take this form. However, you can check back in with us soon for more information.
All Betano sites in territories around the world follow the same outline so I expect the UK version to be very similar. They favour a sleek, user-friendly design with a striking black and orange colour palette, combined with white text which makes everything clear and easy to read.
A menu at the bottom of the screen will transport you to live events, individual sports, and ‘my bets’. Keep scrolling and you’ll get to the ‘useful links’ section, which has pointers to the Help Centre and more information.
Betano have full apps for both iOS and Android devices which provide an extra level of convenience for players who love to game on the go. They can be downloaded from the Betano site, or the App or Google Play store. The app is especially useful for those who want to utilise Betano’s suite of live betting features.
All punters have different payment preferences, so sensible sportsbooks make sure to offer a range of methods, and Betano is no exception. Exact options at Betano vary by region so I don’t have details on what the UK market will have specifically. However, I expect Betano to support reliable, mainstream services, such as Visa and Mastercard, as well as e-wallets and some online banking choices.
Customer support is one of the most important features of a sportsbook. It helps to guarantee a positive customer experience and shows that a sports betting site prioritises their members.
Support at the UK site is likely to follow the suit of Betano sportsbooks in other countries. This includes a standard email and messenger function and a live chat feature to go directly to a team member. Support in some regions is not available 24 hours a day so I would like to see this implemented from the start in the UK market.
Betano have been an established brand in Europe for a number of years but the UK has always been a noticeable omission, until now. Betano’s move into the UK market comes as part of a collaboration with BV Gaming, one of the most respected online sportsbooks, with an excellent pedigree - after all, this is a company that’s been around since the 1940s.
In order to enter the UK market, one of the most heavily regulated in the world, Betano will have to show that they are compliant with all laws and regulations. Encouragingly, players at the Betano UK site will also be able to access the impressive suite of responsible gambling tools which Betano offer to all players, and further demonstrates Betano’s commitment to the customer experience.
Welcome deals aren’t the end of the rewards at Betano, and continuing players can count on loyalty prizes and regular deals popping up regularly, including Refer a Friend bonuses and a loyalty programme that rewards you with free bets and cash prizes when you complete mini missions.
Betano are one of the official partners of UEFA Euro 2024 competition, which gives you an idea of how highly football is going to feature on the site! However, you’ll also find lots of other sports, including horse racing and tennis. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that a decent collection of esports will appear too. I’ll update my Betano reviews as more sports are added so make sure to come back soon to find out more.
Odds on Betano sports UK will vary from one market to the next, but it’s likely that football (as one of the most popular sports in the country) will offer the largest choice of bets, including prop bets, moneylines, and handicaps. As official partners of UEFA Euro 2024, you can expect a lot of tournament based wagers and promos too.
Betano have made it clear that they plan to extend the same live betting functions to their UK punters that are available in other territories. These will be viewable by clicking on the ‘live’ section of the site, and will provide the freshest, up to date odds.
One feature that Betano has up their sleeve that really stands out, and added several points to my Betano ratings, is the Watch and Bet tool. This nifty innovation means that you can place a wager without having to stop watching the game - just pull up a sliding menu and swipe to make your bet.
Limits on how much you can bet and win are sometimes imposed at online sportsbooks. At the moment, Betano have not released information on their planned UK limits but I’ll update this page as soon as we’ve got confirmation.
I’ve seen a lot of online sportsbooks but it’s not often that I look forward to a new site as much as I’m eagerly anticipating Betano. The planned markets are comprehensive but the Watch and Bet tool is a creative feature that shows Betano’s deep understanding of the gambling experience. It’s not planned to be a universal option on all sports at the moment but football, tennis, and basketball are widely covered.
In terms of functionality and design, we can expect the Betano UK site to be similar to other regions but hopefully with a few Great British twists. Full apps boost my Betano ratings for United Kingdom based players too.
Yep, there’s a full app available that replicates the experience of being on the desktop site but gives you instant access to your Betano login and bets. It’s available for both iOS and Android devices so no punters have to miss out.
At the time of writing this Betano review, I don’t have full details on the Betano welcome bonus but, as Betano will undoubtedly want to make their mark in the busy UK market, I can predict that it’s going to be good! I’ll have the complete lowdown as soon as Betano release the information so check back soon.
Betano have not yet launched their site but have completed the groundwork of registering for a UK license, so you can be assured there’s no Betano scam. Betano have already been operating in markets in Europe, Canada, and Africa for a number of years and hold full licenses for every country they operate in. They also pair this with an emphasis on responsible gambling.
I have to admit that I was very excited when I found out that Betano would be bringing their 5 star sportsbook to the UK market. Their sportsbooks in Europe, and the rest of the world, are multi-award winning - for their market selection, killer features, competitive odds, and regular deals, and their UK offering should be no different!
