Our team at Betting.co.uk have plenty of experience crafting guides and reviews, and we know how important it can be to find the right sportsbook for you. For this review, we have looked into what Rhino UK is offering.
As a relatively new sportsbook, Rhino may not be the most familiar name for even the more experienced bettors. Their no-frills sportsbook and strong casino offerings combine with their bonuses to make them worth looking into. Read on to find out all you need to know about them in our Rhino review!
If you’ve been betting for a while with the best UK bookmakers, then you’ll be pretty used to the idea of a welcome bonus. They are common across sportsbooks and are still growing in popularity. They tend to vary between matched deposits, matched bets or even just free bets for signing up in the first place.
Rhino UK offers a decent sporting bonus for those looking to make the most of the bookmakers markets. If you deposit and wager a minimum of £25 within 24 hours of signing up, the bookmaker will give you a £10 free bet to use on sports. The free bet bonus must be used within 7 days of it being credited to your account. If you win with it, you can collect on your profits, but as usual, the free bet stake will be returned to the operator.
This bonus is relatively straightforward to use and should prove viable for even novice bettors. There aren't any complex requirements or restrictions, as you'll see from our Rhino Bet bonus evaluation. The generosity doesn't match the more established operators in the UK market at the moment, but that's to be expected given Rhino Bet are a newer name on the scene.
The Rhino Bet website is a mixed bag when it comes to its usability and appearance. Despite looking good, some issues do crop up.
On first impressions, it is a clean looking sportsbook that puts the markets it has to offer front and centre. Their markets are well organised by sport first of all with it then also divided by competition, day or bet type. There are sections with different ways of filtering marked with different coloured tabs, these easy navigation options add to our Rhino ratings.
It is a particularly minimalistic design with little available to distract attention away from the pure markets that are on offer. The sportsbook, slots, virtuals and live casino products are all clearly laid out with tabs and logos across the top of the page to allow for easy switching.
The colour scheme of the website fits with the Rhino UK branding. The dark background is easy on the eye whilst the blue accents pop out from the rest of the page. Although it lacks some of the stats graphics featured by bookies like 2kBet UK.
Your account information and betting slip as well as your open and settled bets are easy to find in the top corner.
It isn’t perfect, however, as loading times can occasionally be slow, and whilst the markets are easy to find, additional information like terms and conditions and contact details take some searching.
Rhino Bet have recently released a mobile app that is available to both Apple and Android users. You'll find it in the usual app stores with the familiar Rhino branding. The apps have a familiar feel if you're already a user of the website with all the usual features and markets.
During our tests, the app responded well. It was quick to navigate between different events thanks to the A-Z menu and search functionality. The app contains both the sports betting side and casino, ideal for those who don't want to toggle between different applications in order to place wagers on sports or hit the virtual tables.
On the sports side, the markets are helpfully grouped to allow them to be easily scanned and navigated - and the live statistics is a neat touch if you want to catch up on how the match is progressing when it comes to sports such as football.
Rhino UK accepts a number of payment methods for depositing funds. For deposits made by card, they accept MasterCard, Visa and Maestro cards but only debit cards. No credit cards are accepted.
They do accept bank transfers and the ability to deposit into your account via a cheque. There are no fees when you are depositing into your account. You can also deposit straight into your account from your betting slip if the wager you choose exceeds your current balance.
As a UK-focused brand, most players will find it easy to deposit using a debit card but additional methods such as PayPal, Skrill and Neteller would be a big step forward for Rhino.bet in terms of increasing their appeal. If further methods are added in the future, we'll be sure to update this Rhino Bet review accordingly.
Rhino offers fee-free withdrawals. Any withdrawal request will be reviewed by Rhino and must be issued to the payment method listed on file. Withdrawals will typically take two to five working days to process. There is no minimum withdrawal amount listed on their website and whilst there is also no maximum, any withdrawal request of £20,000 or more may need to undergo further checks.
The contact options for Rhino’s customer service team are pretty restrictive with their team only contactable via email. It would improve their offering if there were some of the now common options like we found in our BetTarget reviews, such as a live chat option or even something as basic as a telephone number or contact form.
Rhino UK says that they aim to answer all emails from customers within 72 hours of their team receiving them, however, they tend to answer much faster on average even if it still lacks the instant nature of many of their bigger competitors.
Customer reviews of their customer service deal aren’t sparkling either although that isn’t too much of a surprise. Rhino is still a relatively new sportsbook and therefore a lot of these negative reviews appear to be more around teething problems of a new product rather than any major red flags.
It is also to be expected as very rarely does anyone other than disgruntled customers actually place reviews, happy or satisfied customers rarely feel the need or want to post reviews.
The Rhino reviews do also appear to be improving with the majority of the negativity now in the past which should see Rhino’s rating improve. Of course, a live chat service would be a step in the right direction here too.
No one wants to be using a sportsbook that isn’t looking after their data. That's why we asked ourselves, is Rhino reliable?
Rhino UK is a fully licensed sportsbook under the governance of the UK’s Gambling Commission, this is something we will always check and are happy to find. The UKGC is one of the toughest iGaming authorities on the planet so holding a licence there will always be considered a seal of approval from our point of view.
The website also currently holds a valid SSL certificate which was issued at the start of the year and holds all the necessary encryption for personal and financial details.
In order to combat problem gambling, Rhino has a number of tools built into its service including deposit limits that can be set by day, week or month. You can also set up play breaks that whilst still allowing you to access your account and make withdrawals prevent you from being able to deposit or place bets.
Rhino allows you to set up what they call a reality check where after a certain time frame a notification pops up to show how long you have spent on the website.
For bigger issues, they also offer a complete self-exclusion service where you can prevent yourself from being able to access their services for a period of between six months and five years. During this time your account will be logged out, with your balance refunded to you and you will be unable to log back in. However, it is possible to contact customer service to change or cancel your exclusion period.
They are also affiliated with GamCare and GamStop and are also part of the Independent Betting Adjudication Service (IBAS) which provides an independent dispute resolution service that can be the adjudicator between the bookie and the bettor.
Rhino’s whole brand is that they are a completely stripped back sportsbook with none of the noise associated with other bookies like AvaBet UK. As part of that, some of the more luxurious features of other sportsbooks such as a rewards or VIP scheme is not part of their offering.
It is worth noting that this doesn’t mean there is never going to be anything offered by Rhino that is similar to a loyalty program. In the past, they have offered bonuses such as rewarding regular bettors who hit a threshold of bets within a week-long period with a related value of free bets credited to their account.
That does not mean there is no value in signing up and betting regularly with their Rhino. They tend to offer various boosted odds most days and particularly for big events. It also appears to be the case that Rhino sometimes rewards regular bettors with free bets outside of their established bonuses.
For the sheer amount of markets offered, very few sportsbooks can match what Rhino has to offer. They offer sports from around the world including American sports such as MLB, NFL and NBA as well as the core European sports like football, cricket and rugby. They also offer combat sports like boxing and MMA and even offer some non-sporting markets such as TV specials on winners of shows and similar markets.
Even within these markets, there is a huge variety. They might be a UK sportsbook but their available markets have no borders. Taking football, for example, their markets range from major events like the Premier League down to markets that rarely see the spotlight such as Italy Lega Pro Prima Divisione Girone C, see how that compares with our Bwin reviews. Overall, the vast majority of bettors should find what they are looking for, especially with Build-a-bet functionality available to create your own wagers.
Rhino’s odds compare very favourably to some of the best UK bookmakers. They typically offer better odds for the major events and whilst they aren’t exactly worlds away from the rest of the market they do offer an extra bit of value which can make a difference, especially for the more serious sports bettors.
The odds tend to fall away a bit more as the markets become more niche and obscure, typically falling in line with the market average but they rarely end up being worse value than their competitors.
They also tend to offer daily boosted odds that can add even more value to their offering. These will often align with the most popular events in a given week, so be sure to check in on what's available before the next big match or race.
The maximum limit for winnings in one day is £500,000, however, it is worth noting that there is a limit of £100,000 on any one sport within a day. Another note in their terms and conditions is that whilst there is a limit in winnings, Rhino will still accept bets that could put you over the limit so it is up to you to keep track if you start getting near the limit.
One of the biggest selling points Rhino has to offer is that they are a sportsbook with none of the extra features around the outside. This stripped-back approach understandably means that there are no live streaming options available. These tend to be restricted to the biggest brands anyway, so we didn't expect live streaming to be part of Rhino Bet's functionality right now.
Live betting is a completely different story, however. Their in-play options are just as strong as their regular markets with in-play even having its own tab in the same format as their casino, live casino and sportsbook products. In-play betting even covers their more niche markets, for example at the time of writing there were in-play markets available for Colombia Primera A.
Overall, Rhino is a very strong sportsbook where its simple nature plays to its strengths putting all its customer's focus onto its extensive markets, in-play options including the more niche sports and leagues. Live streaming and other luxuries would be nice, however, they aren’t massively missed. If you want to keep things simple, Rhino Bet could well be the brand for you.
The software involved in Rhino’s casino product is very effective with all games loading quickly and without bugs or glitches. Games are provided by a wide range of popular software providers including Pragmatic, Ruby Play and Inspired Gaming.
Finding games on Rhino UK is relatively easy. The casino product has its own dedicated section and within that, there are a number of different ways to filter and find the games you want. These filters include the most popular games, newest games and the category of games including Drops and Wins, classic slots. The presence of a search option is also a welcome addition.
Rhino offers a very pleasing array of games in its portfolio. Many of the most popular slots are available including Sweet Bonanza, Monopoly Madness and Wild Toro. These are well complemented with some different games featuring varying themes including sports themes, pop culture themes and spins on traditional formats.
They also offer table games such as roulette and blackjack although there is a notable lack of scratchcards in their offering.
The live casino offering is a developed product with numerous tables for every game with plenty of roulette and blackjack tables as well as baccarat. They are organised as effectively as their casino games with the two sharing the same website format. Rhino also includes varied formats including non-traditional game shows such as Mega Wheel and Sweet Bonanza CandyLand.
There are different limits on the casino side of their product than there is on their sporting product. The limit is set at £250,000 and that is consistent for live casino, gaming and slot winnings.
In conclusion, Rhino’s casino product is a very worthwhile part of the sportsbooks offering. Whilst it is clearly secondary to the sportsbook side of Rhino, it is obvious that there has been a lot of time and effort put into developing their product with plenty of games and tables as well as bonuses to go along with the options.
Rhino is a relatively new sportsbook that was launched in 2020. UK sportsbooks will ideally be licensed and affiliated with a number of charities as well as offering responsible gambling options. You can find out if Rhino is safe by reading the Betting.co.uk full Rhino reviews./faq-item]

Rhino is primarily a sportsbook that is aiming to strip away some of the added extras and leave bettors with a simple and easy betting experience. However, alongside their sportsbook, they do offer casino and live casino options as well. Follow our Betting.co.uk review to learn more about Rhino’s offering.
If you are wanting nothing more than a stripped back, no-frills sportsbook, then there are few out there who can compete with Rhino’s offering. They do lack some value without the promotions some of their competitors offer and the lack of live streaming does hurt Rhino to some degree. But, at least they have a decent welcome offer on the books.
The sheer depth and breadth of the markets they offer across most sports as well as their casino and live table game offerings make them stronger, and when this is combined with their very easy to navigate website, it makes them a very good sportsbook.
Initially I didn't like the look of the site very much, but with time you get used to it.
Excellent for fee-free withdrawals. Safe, dynamic and very practical site, which makes the results very fast.
The thing that I like most was the benefist from VIP program. There are a lot of great promos
It brings confidence to us when depositing and having our data.
Fee-free withdrawals are great. Easy and intuitive navigation.
Although the welcome bonus is not so advantageous, the live betting function is wonderful and very dynamic.
I found the site very safe, the dynamics of the games I liked a lot.
This site is very safe and simple to use, I think this is a great advantage because it makes the user comfortable to bet
I was really excited to try Rhino, as its interface is extremely intuitive and attractive, but to find out that a small error would completely damage my experience leaves much to be desired.
accepts some forms of payment, it would be better if you had paypal. it's nice to bet on it.
Bet not settled , no access to live chat or phone number POOR
As its interface is simple, I believe that over time it becomes very easy to navigate the site for new users, not to mention that what caught my attention were the withdrawals without fees, that's great!
I liked the diversity that has to bet.
the platform is simple to use, has insurance, and market with variable bonuses.
I loved the live streaming and the odds
COOL GAMES BUT NOTHING ELSE. NEED THIS BETTER TOO
