It’s clear the aim of BetBurger is to answer all questions without you needing to contact the customer service team. Usability
Not only does BetBurger explain itself well but it’s also incredibly easy to use. We talked earlier about the different payment options and facilities, and it really is about as easy as it sounds. They have an incredibly simple interface, which makes utilising all this information so easy.
That’s often the concern when it comes to a platform as comprehensive as BetBurger. Occasionally, software that aims for that kind of scope can shoot itself in the foot by allowing the size of what they’re offering to overcomplicate things. After all, the whole point of this kind of service is to simplify something that would otherwise be very complicated.
We’d say they do a pretty marvelous job of exactly that. Finding and selecting pre-match and live arbs, as well as the value bet sections, are straightforward and intuitive. Comparison Versus Manual
There’s no doubt that in terms of what it offers, BetBurger does a lot with an incredible degree of depth and finesse. But how does that stack up in terms of simply trying to do it yourself? Well, it’s certainly possible that a person could in theory, go through all of the different betting sites and markets and do the mathematics to try and find examples of where a profit could be made through arbitrage betting.
The way that would work is that you would find a market – let’s say on football 1x2 markets – and then you would need to convert the odds to implied probability. There are calculators out there that can help you do that. Now, it’s not the case that you would be able to do this on a single bookmaker. It would be extraordinarily unlikely that a bookmaker would ever make the mistake of providing odds that would add up to essentially guaranteeing a losing margin for them.
So, you would need to get the implied percentages of odds of dozens of bookmakers across that market. Even so, you would have to be extraordinarily lucky to pick a game which happened to have an opportunity for arbitrage betting. It’s possible, in theory, but in practise would happen very rarely. Bookmakers are fully aware of this practise and do whatever they can to prevent it. That’s why it’s so important that BetBurger has such an enormous sense of scale.
Not only that but the time this would take would – even in those lucky circumstances – almost certainly be too late. Bookmakers adjust rather quickly to arbitrage odds, and we’ll discuss more on that later, meaning you would still likely not be able to capitalise. The same issues lie with value bets, and when it came to live betting, the issues would be ten-fold. To put it simply, BetBurger makes arbitrage betting possible for most people, whereas without a similar platform, it would be a near impossibility.
Cautions
We mentioned in the previous section of our BetBurger review that bookmakers respond quickly to arbitrage betting opportunities. That’s why it’s so very important that BetBurger is such a fast and efficient tool. Anything less would leave it close to useless – perhaps not as terribly unlikely as simply attempting to utilise value or arbitrage betting manually, but still generally not useful.
However, even with software this good, there are still things to be cautious about. First off, there’s still the chance you could miss the boat in terms of odds changing, especially in live play. They can change in a second, and it could be the second you’re making that bet. This would leave you with a guaranteed loss percentage, instead of guaranteed winnings.
The other key risk is bookmakers suspecting you of arbitrage betting. While this is not illegal, it’s something that could see your account limited or even suspended. Compounding these issues is that, because making any decent profit from this technique requires large funds, your margin is only small, but the loss could be large. These are limitations of all of these types of software, and BetBurger does everything they can to mitigate them.
Overall Conclusion
We don’t think there can be much doubt that what BetBurger does is up there with the absolute best. There’s lots of similar software out there and it’s clear the more we delved into things just how much they’ve earned their place in this industry. Their truly incredible amount of depth is made simple enough for pretty much anyone to use. We’d like to see a live chat service, but in terms of the actual product being offered, that’s all the notes we’ve had. BetBurger has had several years to perfect what they do – and perfect it they have.
The only question is, are they worth the money? It’s the only key criticism we’ve encountered during our research for this BetBurger review, or at least the only consideration we didn’t see as being deeply unfair. Yes, BetBurger is quite pricey but we would argue, not for what they offer. It’s all relative and in terms of the opportunities available here – and considering that such an endeavour would likely require a great deal more investment than is asked here – it actually seems like a very reasonable amount, all things considered.
