Who are Burnley? A little background
Burnley were founded in 1882, and have been playing at their home ground, Turf Moor, since it opened in 1883.

The Clarets’ main rivals are Blackburn Rovers, their East Lancashire neighbours, who they compete against in what is sometimes known as the Cotton Mill Derby. The first match between the sides came in 1887, a game which Burnley lost 7-1! It’s been a tightly fought contest ever since.
An interesting fact about Burnley is that they’re one of the only teams to have won all 4 divisional titles, a record they hold along with Preston North End and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
