Bournemouth however are 6/1 to win at home, but they haven’t exactly been in the best form of late and will need to be at their very best if they are to take anything from this game. I have a betting tip for this fixture, but let’s take a look at the two teams first of all.

Bournemouth haven’t won in the Premier League since Boxing Day and they are really going to need to find a big performance out of nowhere if they are to trouble the current champions this weekend. I think if you look at both teams here there is a clear difference between the quality of the two sides and it is hard to see Bournemouth getting anything out of the game. Manchester City are 4 points behind Liverpool and are going to want to close that gap this weekend. They can’t afford any slip ups, and the stats are very much against Bournemouth so I can only see this going one way.

For this reason I am going to use the correct score market to make my prediction for this weekend’s fixture in the search of a bigger price.

I always like to try and make a case for the underdogs, but that has been difficult with Bournemouth not only based on current form, but also the history between the two teams. Bournemouth have never beaten Manchester City and right now the current champions are really starting to find their groove so I see no reason why Bournemouth should take anything out of this game.

I simply think it’s just a case of how many goals for Manchester City and with a full squad, they could run riot here against Bournemouth. I can see Manchester City scoring early and if they do, they will just go on from there in cruise control. I would take a chance on two bets here. You can get 14/1 on a 4-0 win, and 33/1 on a 5-0 for the champions, and I’d be happy backing both at those prices. I think they offer tremendous value this week.
