Brechin have a huge task on their hands as they host Livingston in the Scottish League Cup on Saturday. The Highland League outfit go into the game as massive underdogs against their Premiership opponents, but will be hoping to pull off a huge victory. Livi boss David Martindale has made big changes to his squad, with six players leaving over the Summer. He has added Scottish international Mikey Devlin to the squad and will be hoping to introduce a few more new names before the League season begins next month.

Brechin and Livingston have met 64 times previously, with Livingston leading 28-17 in the overall head-to-head. The recent record also favours the visitors, as Brechin have recorded just one win from the two sides' previous nine encounters.

The two teams have only met once before in the League Cup, with Livingston emerging 3-0 winners in a 2007 first round clash.
