A crunch relegation battle takes centre stage in the Premier League on Sunday as 17th-place Nottingham Forest travel to 16th-place Everton. Both sides have made the headlines for the wrong reasons with points deductions owing to their financial mismanagements throwing both sides right in the deep end of a relegation battle.
The Toffees are just two points clear of safety, one point and one place ahead of Sunday’s visitors. Sean Dyche’s side comes into this after a 6-0 drubbing at Chelsea, which lacked any resilience or any sort of resemblance to a Sean Dyche side.
Things will be getting twitchy at Goodison Park as we approach the final weeks of the season and the recent form will do nothing to ease their fears. The Toffees have won just one of their last fifteen, coming at home to ten-man Burnley. A fiery atmosphere is expected, as Everton will be keen to ensure they get points on the board before hosting fierce rivals Liverpool.
Like Saturday's hosts, Nottingham Forest have had their fair share of off-the-field drama, having been deducted four points for financial mismanagement.
They've also been in poor form, only winning one of their last nine games in all competitions. Nuno Espirito Santos' side also have the third-worst away record in the Premier League, having accumulated just ten points on their travels all season.
The Reds are also eight games without an away win (in normal time) in all competitions, so a major improvement is needed if they are to leave a hostile Goodison Park with any points.

The sides have faced each other 131 times in history, but only three times this century. Nottingham Forest have only won one of the last eight meetings, coming in 1999.
The reverse fixture saw Everton winning 1-0 thanks to a second-half Dwight McNeil goal.
Overall, Everton have won 56 of the meetings, with 28 draws and Forest winning 47.
Looking at both teams respective forms, it is hard to pick a winner. Both teams are struggling for goals while also looking leaky at the back. With the game state as it is and two nervous fan bases, this could look like a tetchy, cagey draw.
As mentioned, this is a huge game for both teams. Relegation could have catastrophic effects on either side, with both squads bloated and riddled with inflated wages.
Both managers will have been told just how important a positive result is on Sunday, and the two passionate gaffers will have their sides fired up.
Everton games have averaged 3.8 cards in them. Nottingham Forest games have seen an average of 4.95 cards, with the Reds drawing the most red cards (6) in the league.
Both sides have seen at least five cards in their matches in the last two. While the last fixture was a timid affair with only one card, the fixture towards the end of last season with similar end-of-season repercussions saw a whopping eight cards, with seven coming in the second half. In this game, there were a couple of boiling points that led to a flurry of cards.
The magnitude of this game cannot be understated, and we should see plenty of cards at Goodison.
