The late kick off on Sunday is between Everton and Manchester United and the home team will be desperate to get some points out of this fixture as they find themselves in the relegation zone after 12 games this season.
Everton are 9/5 to win at home here whilst Manchester United are at a big price at 6/4 considering they have found some good form of late in the premier league and are now up to 6th in the league. Everton however are down in 19th and need to start picking up some points before they find themselves tailing off at the bottom. Let’s have a look at both sides and then get on to some betting suggestions.
Everton had initially struggled early on this season, but they have managed to pick up 7 points out of a possible 9 in their last 3 games, which will at least give them some momentum coming into this fixture at home. They have had plenty of off field issues currently, but they are playing good football on the pitch and they will fancy their chances this week I’m sure. They put in a good shift to beat Crystal Palace away in their last fixture, but this is going to be a much stiffer task as they welcome Manchester United to Goodison Park.
Manchester United may not be in the very best form but they are seemingly becoming a very hard team to beat and this makes them very dangerous this weekend. They come into this fixture having beaten both Luton and Fulham 1-0 without playing their best and I think it may be a similar story this week too. The football they are playing may not be the flashiest, but it is getting results and I think they will be hard to beat this weekend.
Manchester United have won the last two meetings between these two teams, but I wouldn’t look into that too much. Manchester United are guilty of throwing in the odd lackluster performance which gives Everton a chance here but they have been solid of late. This is likely to be a pretty close encounter.
Everton have played some really good football in their last 3 matches, but Manchester United have been very tough to break down. This encounter may turn out to be a scrappy affair but I still have a strong view on the winners and I will use the outright market for my betting suggestion.
Everton have had a rough time off the pitch lately and will really need to be focussed to take some points from this game, but their recent form does offer hope. Manchester United though are very tough at the back and will be hard to break down if their recent performances are anything to go by.
Everton have been playing some good football in recent weeks and they will be feeling very confident coming into this fixture however I think Manchester United are the ones to side with this week. They haven't exactly been playing the best football, but they have got all the fundamentals right and this is enabling them to keep clean sheets and become a tough team to beat.
I don't see there being too many goals here , but I think Manchester United will find a way to take the three points back to Manchester with them and at 6/4 look like a decent bet in my opinion.
