Key Points
  • BetMGM is boosting odds on bet builders
  • Many are on offer for Chelsea vs Manchester United
  • You can claim the boost on other Premier League games

BetMGM is offering various bet builder boosts on Saturday’s Premier League showdown between Chelsea and Manchester United.

The league’s standout game of the day will feature two teams under pressure. The hosts go into the match off the back of a 0-2 defeat at home to rivals Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday, and were knocked out of the Carabao Cup via a penalty shootout at Liverpool on Wednesday following a 1-1 draw. Xabi Alonso’s team sit fifth in the table.

Their opponents, who are 16th, have been in a full-blown crisis in recent times. After Michael Carrick was upgraded from interim to permanent manager in the summer, the team’s form has taken a clear downturn, with only two wins secured from 12 games in all competitions.

Blue is the colour

Going into the game, which will kick off at Stamford Bridge at 12:30pm UK time, BetMGM is giving bettors even more to play for. In one example, you can bet on both teams to score, Chelsea to lead at both half-time and full-time, and for Chelsea to win the most corners, with the price boosted from 9/2 to 11/2. Both teams have kept just one clean sheet between them in the league this season.

You can also try and make the most of a boost on what United captain Bruno Fernandes will do in this game. Fernandes was left out of  last Sunday's 0-3 defeat at home to Bournemouth, after publicly criticising the team’s tactics following the previous game; a 4-1 defeat away to Como in the UEFA Champions League.

Fernandes and Carrick are reported to have held clear the air talks this week, and you can bet on the Portuguese attacking midfielder to commit at least two fouls, receive a card and rack up either a goal or an assist at the boosted price of 17/2; this has gone up from the previous price of 7/1.

United to win again?

The visitors won this fixture 1-0 last season, and there is also a boosted bet builder on the game going in their favour this time around. If you want to bet on United to win, while also picking up the most cards, and with both teams getting on the scoresheet, the odds have been boosted from 10/1 to 11/1.

Chelsea’s attacking midfielder Cole Palmer will also be back in action, after being suspended for the defeat at Liverpool due to a red card picked up against Tottenham. You can make a more ambitious bet on the Englishman to score two or more goals, along with Chelsea winning to nil and winning the most corners, at the boosted price of 34/1, up from 30/1.

The boosts don’t stop there

Elsewhere in the Premier League on Saturday, league leaders Manchester City host third-placed Brighton & Hove Albion at 3pm. BetMGM is offering a boost on both teams scoring, with the hosts coming out on top and the visitors picking up the most cards at 16/5, shifting upwards from 13/5.

Moving into Sunday’s action, you can find a boost on what BetMGM describes as cards, corners and chaos in the blockbuster clash between Liverpool and Arsenal at Anfield at 430pm. You can bet on Arsenal to have more than 5.5 corners, with Martin Odegaard registering two shots on target and a goal/assist at 11/1, up from 19/2.
