The Premier League kicks off on Friday night, with Everton hosting Coventry at the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Both sides come into this fixture on the back of wins; Coventry managed to overcome Sunderland 3-1, and Everton beat Newcastle 1-0 at St James's Park.
Leeds come up against an in-form Tottenham side. It has been a difficult few weeks for Leeds, who have failed to win any of their last five Premier League matches. The Whites were beaten 2-0 by Bournemouth last weekend and now face another tough test.
Spurs have been much better under Roberto De Zerbi, recording three consecutive league wins for the first time since February 2025. Their latest win came against Crystal Palace, with Tottenham registering 34 shots and almost 80% possession.
Manchester United have struggled this season, but their dramatic 3-2 win against Roma in midweek will have given them a much-needed confidence boost. United will now be hoping to build on that result and secure three points when they face Aston Villa on Sunday.

David Moyes will be pleased with Everton's recent performances. The Toffees have secured back-to-back wins against Newcastle in the EFL Cup and Premier League. Everton won 3-1 in the EFL Cup fourth round, and 1-0 in the Premier League, with Thierno Barry scoring the only goal of the game.
Throughout the current campaign, Everton have been solid at the back, keeping four clean sheets in their opening nine Premier League matches. However, the Toffees have struggled in attack, scoring just nine league goals. Barry has been one of their standout players in recent weeks, scoring four goals in his last five appearances across all competitions.
Since promotion back to the Premier League, Coventry have had a good start. The Sky Blues are currently 16th, with three wins in their last five league outings. Frank Lampard's side lost their opening four league matches but have looked much better since.
I can see this being a close game, with both sides struggling for consistency in the final third. Seven of Everton's nine Premier League matches have finished with under 2.5 goals, while Moyes' side have also kept four clean sheets. Coventry have found things difficult away from home, scoring just twice on their travels this season. With that in mind, under 2.5 goals is the best bet for me.
Tottenham will be confident of picking up another win away at Elland Road. Roberto De Zerbi's side have secured a maximum of nine points in their last three Premier League outings, keeping clean sheets against Chelsea and Crystal Palace. Spurs also have a great record against Leeds, winning five of their last six meetings.
Leeds have struggled in front of goal in recent fixtures; the Whites are without a goal in their last two games. However, Leeds have a good home record; Daniel Farke's side are unbeaten in their last eight home league games, so it won't be easy for Tottenham.
Tottenham will aim to continue their current momentum. With Leeds struggling for goals and Spurs improving, I fancy the visitors to come away with three points.
Arsenal are sitting top of the table after nine matches, three points clear of Manchester City in second. The Gunners will aim to expand their lead at the top as they host Hull City. Mikel Arteta's side managed to gain three points away at Liverpool last weekend, with Kai Havertz scoring the only goal of the match.
Arsenal have also kept three consecutive clean sheets in the league, and they've conceded just five goals all season, the fewest in the division. Hull City had a positive start to life back in the Premier League, but they've dropped off in recent matches. The Tigers have failed to win any of their previous seven league matches. Sergej Jakirović's side drew 2-2 against Ipswich last weekend and currently sit 11th in the table.
I'm going with Arsenal to win both halves. The Gunners have won all four home league matches this season, scoring nine goals and conceding just twice. Arsenal have also won eight of their previous ten Premier League meetings with Hull.
Fulham have been much better in recent weeks; they've secured seven points in their last three Premier League games, which includes a 1-1 draw away at Aston Villa last weekend.
On the other hand, Newcastle have lost three of their previous four league games and are struggling to get results under Matthias Jaissle. The Magpies currently sit 13th in the table, just two points above Fulham. The Cottagers have secured back-to-back wins against Newcastle at Craven Cottage. Fulham have improved in recent weeks, and I think the hosts can take all three points on Saturday.
