As it’s Saturday, I have another Lucky 15 for you! Once again, these four selections come specifically from the ITV Racing action at Ascot and Redcar. ITV are also covering Newmarket but we don’t have any horses running there this time.

For those not familiar with my content here, I produce a variety of free horse racing tips. These are a mixture of daily betting tips, antepost selections and then each Saturday, I produce this article containing a Lucky 15 for you across the ITV Racing action.

Saturday is special as I have two articles rather than one. The other article today is my main betting tip which is already live, so make sure you take a look at that one once you have the Lucky 15 bet placed!

The best all round value comes from bet365!

As is often the case, the best horse racing odds for today’s Lucky 15 come from bet365! They’re combined odds for the four horses of 2,020/1 has them clear of their rivals who sit between 1,281/1 and 1,787/1. They don’t just have great odds though, they also have superb place terms. For example, in the opening race, they are offering four places when the rest of the market are only offering the traditional three. To top it all off, they have a fantastic new customer deal. Four selections that can outrun their odds!

As usual, I have opted for an each way Lucky 15 rather than the win only version. The four horses are currently available at odds of 4/1, 7/4, 20/1 and 6/1. Whilst a couple of those prices would be on the short side for each way singles, they work lovely in this Lucky 15 format. In the following sections, I’ll break down the case for each of the horses selected.

Shagraan @ 4/1 - He can win back to back renewals of this race!

Last season, Shagraan finished off his campaign and time with Michael Appleby with a bang. He won a Listed race at Beverley, was only denied a neck in second in a Group 3 and then won this very race. Those three performances produced RPRs of 112, 114 and 111, with him ending the season on an official rating of 108.

Clive Cox has aimed high with him this year, racing in Group 3, Group 2 and even Group 1 company and coming up short. However, they freshened him up with a 77-day break before returning for a Group 3 at Newbury, where he was only beaten a neck, producing a RPR of 111. There is every chance he builds on that performance here and if so, he can win back to back renewals.

Satellite Of Love @ 7/4 - He bumped into one last time but can go one better here!

Satellite Of Love hit the ground running with a Maiden win at Windsor before going 2/2 in a Novice Stakes at Newbury. He was then thrown into the deep end by racing in the Harry’s Half Million By Goffs race, where he bumped into Sun Goddess. Sun Goddess was already a Group 1 and Group 2 winner and has won a further two Group 1s since, achieving a rating of 119.

Clive Cox (trainer) then sent Satellite Of Love to another extremely valuable race in the form of the Weatherbys £300,000 2-Y-O Stakes at Doncaster. It looked like he had the race won but he was mowed down late by the hot favourite and group horse in the making - Night In Vegas. Night In Vegas heads to the £200,000 (£308,855) Tattersalls October Auction Stakes at Newmarket and Satellite Of Love heads to this £150,000 Two Year Old Trophy at Redcar. I think the pair of them are very smart and will take some beating.

Great Acclaim @ 20/1 - He deserves to land a big one and today he can do it!

The third leg of our Lucky 15 bet today is Great Acclaim for the Eve Johnson Houghton yard in the Challenge Cup back at Ascot. With C&D figures of 24239, he has been banging on the door and he deserves to land a big one.

I think the high draw and 7lb claimer in the saddle can make the difference. He is actually my main betting tip today, so there is a full article providing a more in-depth case on him. Therefore, be sure to check that out once you are done reading this one.

Valvano @ 6/1 - He won readily last time and he can build further on that here!

The Guisborough Stakes (Listed Race) at Redcar looks like a cracker. You could make a case for a few of these but I’m taking a chance on Valvano away from the top of the market at odds of 6/1. In his career up until March 2026, he had been running over trips varying from 1m to 1m4f. However, that all changed in August.

After running over 1m in March, he was given a wind operation the following month. He was subsequently given a break of 141 days and they changed their tactics on him for his return. They dropped back to 7f for the first time and he absolutely relished the change, coming from the rear of the field to win, giving his rivals weight and a beating under top weight. There is every chance he has more to offer with that run under his belt, second run after a wind operation and at this new trip. He would not need to find much further improvement in order to give him a real shot at landing this Listed race.

Can we get four places or even better?

Of course, we want to hit four winners but we also have to be realistic at the same time. I’d be more than happy to walk away at the end of Saturday with four places and the healthy profit that it would produce. To walk away with four winners, our runners have questions to answer:

Can Shagraan back up last year’s victory to deny the improving Tuco Salamanca?
Can Satellite Of Love prove the strength of her form by going one better than last time?
Can Great Acclaim finally get his big day after repeatedly knocking on the door?
Can Valvano find further improvement on this second start at 7f and with a run under his belt?

I think all four of our horses can answer these questions but we will require the necessary luck in-running to pull off four winners. At the prices, the places pay well enough and anything extra is a bonus. If nothing else, this Lucky 15 will keep you entertained with all four races being shown on ITV. Hopefully this bet returns more than just entertainment though. Fingers crossed!
