Everything looks spot on for Jojo Rabbit!

I considered several angles before recommending a bet on Jojo Rabbit and in this article, I’ll explain them in more detail.

Jojo Rabbit gets his preferred going today

Jojo Rabbit has run eleven times during 2026. However, only two of those races were on Good to Soft going, which he clearly prefers. As proven by the fact that he won at Pontefract in April, as came a close second at the same track in May. With the ground finally in his favour again, he could easily bounce back to winning ways today.

If we look more closely at those two races, they came off handicaps marks of 63 and 66. In fact, all nine of Jojo Rabbit’s victories have been off higher marks than his current one. As he is running off a reduced handicap mark of just 61 today, he has every chance of running a huge race.

Jojo Rabbit’s high draw is favourable at Leicester

All races from 5f to 7f are run on Leicester’s straight track, which is where Jojo Rabbit will race today. As the track has a small bias, it’s always better to be drawn high. The higher the draw, the closer the horses are to the near side rail, which generally works out better than racing up the centre of the track.

If nothing else, the rail works as a guide to keep horses straight and honest. As Jojo Rabbit has drawn Stall 10 of eleven today, he will be in exactly the right place from the off.

Can Jojo Rabbit record his tenth victory today?

With the current Good to Soft going, an attractive handicap mark of 61, and a favourably high draw, I really like the look of Jojo Rabbit at Leicester today.

In terms of negatives, Jojo Rabbit is on a nine-race losing streak, and he has thrown in some very poor runs this year. In addition, trainer Ruth Carr has recorded a weak 4% strike rate (1/28) over the last fourteen days.

With all facts taken into consideration, I think Jojo Rabbit is worth an each way play at 6/1. However, given the negatives, I’m limiting today’s bet to half stakes.
