Premier League newboys Ipswich welcome Manchester United to Portman Road this Sunday afternoon. The hosts will be looking to build on their first win of the season having shocked Spurs away from home before the international break.
Many believed, including myself, that Ipswich would be straight back down after their promotion to the Premier League. It may have taken them 10 matches, but the Tractor Boys are now up and running with an impressive away win against Spurs. That win, alongside five draws, keeps them out of the relegation zone - for now.
Plenty of praise has gone to their head coach, Kieran McKenna, for his style of play and brand of football. If he can start to add a few more wins to go alongside their positive performances, there's certainly hope that they can prove everyone wrong.
It's a new era for Manchester United once again. As Eric Ten Haag departs, Ruben Amorim arrives from Sporting hoping to change their fortunes - not only for this season but for years to come.
Although highly successful in Portugal with Sporting, there's work to do in order to restore any kind of glory days at Old Trafford. Unbeaten in their last four, he has something to build on, but this is a tricky looking tie - and how he would have preferred a home match to open with.
There's a reason why Man United are languishing in 13th place in the Premier League - and that's largely down to their away form. With just five points from five matches, the Red Devils head into this having not won on the road since mid-September against Southampton.
Draws against Crystal Palace, Porto, Aston Villa, Fenerbahce have followed, before a last gasp defeat against West Ham all but finished their previous head coach off. Reading between the lines, there were some decent performances in there, but more is expected of Man United - and Amorim has to deliver.
Ipswich have yet to taste victory at home, but have made it a difficult venue. Only those from Merseyside have conquered, with both Everton and Liverpool leaving with 2-0 victories.
Yet Fulham, Aston Villa and Leicester have all been frustrated at Portman Road. Admittedly, there hasn't been a giant killing yet from the home side, but confidence is growing, and goals are also part of that.
These two sides haven't met since 2015 in the Capital One Cup as it was known, where Man United came out on top 3-0, with a certain Wayne Rooney opening the scoring. How the visitors would like him back fit and firing for them.
Many will be expecting that immediate new manager bounce for Man United, and perhaps they are right, but it's hard to dismiss Ipswich's continuous improvement in recent weeks. The hosts won't make it easy for the visitors, and they can certainly get on the scoresheet.
Ipswich's 2-0 win against Spurs was richly deserved, and perhaps McKenna would have been annoyed the international break followed and his side were unable to build on that momentum. It's also offered Man United a chance to bring in their new head coach and get his early ideology across.
Yet perhaps this was a blessing in disguise for the hosts. McKenna can regroup, get this team well rested and prepare themselves entirely for this match against a Man United side there for the taking - whether or not they have a new man in the dugout.
Ipswich have scored four goals at home - and they've looked comfortable in the Premier League in front of their own fans. They might not get the result they want, but with Liam Delap up front - (six goals) - there's every chance they can frustrate United.
Delap is in the mood, and there's every reason to suggest he'll be up for this match. With bet365, you can back both teams to find the back of the net and Liam Delap to have one shot on target at a rather generous 9/4. Good luck to those that follow.
