The Premier League continues this weekend with a fixture between two sides who had contrasting results last weekend. For today’s betting tip, we are focusing on the match between Leeds United and Tottenham Hotspur at Elland Road.

Leeds United are coming off a tough loss to rivals Manchester United. Bielsa’s men almost completed a miraculous comeback within a minute, but goals from Fred and Anthony Elanga meant Leeds ended the game with a 4-2 defeat. This defeat keeps them in the relegation battle - five points adrift of the bottom three.

Leeds can add central defender Robin Koch to their injury list. Koch looks set to miss the game against Spurs due to a head injury sustained in the United game. The German defender follows the likes of Liam Cooper, Kalvin Phillips and Patrick Bamford as absentees.

Tottenham’s three-game Premier League losing streak was finally snapped last weekend. Conte’s team ran out 3-2 victors at the Etihad Stadium, enforcing City’s first Premier League defeat since October. The Lilywhites are now three points away from the European places ahead of this clash with Leeds.

Unfortunately, Spurs will be without Sergio Reguilon due to COVID-19. Fellow defender Japhet Tanganga and midfielder Oliver Skipp are set to be absent as well due to injuries.

Both these sides are desperate for a win ahead of Saturday. A win for Tottenham Hotspur, and Conte’s side could be in the European places after matchday 27 in the Premier League. As for Leeds, they need a win to maintain the gap between themselves and the relegation zone. Watford, Burnley, and Newcastle were victorious last weekend, closing the gap on Bielsa’s men.

Leeds can take confidence from their last appearance at Elland Road against Tottenham - running out as 3-1 winners. However, Tottenham dominated the other two Premier League encounters, winning 3-0 and 2-1 over the past two seasons.
